About this accommodation
For the past 3 years, Myriam and her husband have privatized and converted the extension of their family home called "LE BOUT DU L" into an independent cottage, classified 3 ***.

It is a haven of peace full of charm in the heart of the small village of Mesbrecourt-Richecourt, ideally located in the middle of a rich and varied heritage between Saint-Quentin, Laon & Guise in the Aisne.

Completely renovated, it is designed as the perfect place for a country, sporting, cultural interlude with family or friends.
The accommodation
This warm 90 m² cottage, with its private and independent access, can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people (and 2 toddlers).
On the first floor, you will find:
-A cosy living room with exposed stones, perfect for moments of relaxation
-An open kitchen fully equipped, opening onto a living room bathed in light, with a view of the garden and a sunny terrace of 30 m², ideal for your breakfasts
-A bathroom - with a 100+ year old earthenware on the wall - with walk-in shower and separate toilet (towels are of course provided)
Upstairs:
-A welcoming first bedroom with exposed stones, with a double bed and a single bed
-A second bedroom in soft pastel tones, for peaceful and restful nights!
The large garden of 4000 m² with trees and flowers is shared with Myriam, her husband, and their adorable four-legged friend, the dog Macau. But rest assured, they are very discreet and will make sure that you enjoy every moment in peace.

you can access Laon medieval town, its ramparts & Gothic cathedral, Guise and the familistère, Saint-Quentin and Art Deco, the memories of the Great War (Chemin des dames, dragon's cave), the fortified churches of Thiérache, ...
For sports enthusiasts or those who want to recharge their batteries in nature: many paths start from the village for walks in the middle of the fields or along a river (routes recorded in the Open Runner application). Myriam will also be able to advise you on many walks or hikes, tested and approved (on foot, by bike, by mountain bike): Saint-Gobain national forest, green axis, Stevenson way, Ailette valley, ... Bicycles are accepted! In the gîte, you have an entrance (locked) in which you can safely store your bikes during your stay.
