The house is just as listed and shown in photos, maybe even better in person. Its very clean and the interior was beautiful. Check in and out was very easy and we would definitely stay here again. Metung as a town was awesome. Thanks to the great hosts.

Perfect dog friendly stay

This property is perfect for a family stay in Metung. The house was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen with beautiful views from the deckThe deck was enclosed which made it easy for us to keep the dog safe. The property is about a 2km walk along the boardwalk into town which we enjoyed doing every morning. I highly recommend this property for people travelling with kids and dogs. We will definitely rebook for our next summer holidays.

Cosy and relaxing

A home reminiscent of a bygone era when life was uncomplicated and holidays were filled with simple pleasures of mucking about in boats and watching the sunset on the deck while a BBQ cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed this house for recapturing that experience. It was well provisioned with everything we needed. Highly recommend.

A stunning spot with amazing views of the lake. The native birdlife and serene setting made for a special stay. Close to the village and well equipped. Even made the most of the wood burner on a cold November weekend! Can’t wait to return

What a view!

We booked this as a last minute get away and couldn’t have loved it more. Beaut views, close to the water and the lovely boardwalk into Metung. Clearly in the process of being done up, but already utterly comfortable and had everything we needed for a cosy winter weekend away. Lovely to be able to bring our dog and great communication from the owners. We definitely want to go back!

Incredible views! Spacious house! SOOO peaceful!! Highly recommended!!!

The communication from Sally and Will was great from start to finish, the check in process was easy and there is SO much space in those rooms!! The house all the amenities that you need with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and plenty of bedding. Comfy couches in the huge lounge space are awesome and the views are absolutely spectacular! Honestly, I want that house!!! I definitely think that this place is a 10/10, 5 star and any other high rank that you can give a place! Sally and Will, thank you SO much for letting my family and I experience that, even if it was WAY too short!

Sal and Will's property is absolutely gorgeous, and was perfect for our time in Metung. They go the extra mile for guests, plus the area is stunning. Will definitely stay longer next time!
