On the beach of Lake Michigan, this 2 bedroom "Cottage", with full bathroom, is the escape you're looking for. The sounds of the shore and view of the lake are just what you need.

This property is located on the shore of Lake Michigan.
It's just minutes away from shopping, dining, Blue Chip Casino and much more!

You will be provided with a unique code for the front door key box, that is valid during your stay. You will have the entire left side of the duplex to yourself. Please, do not try to access the other side through adjoining door or enter the basement. There is a deck that you can enjoy. Be mindful, the deck is a shared space with the other unit. If you use the grill, you will need to scrape the grates when finished.

On the beach of Lake Michigan, this 2 bedroom "Cottage", with full bathroom, is the escape you're looking for. The sounds of the shore and view of the lake are just what you need.
Upon entering, to the right, you're greeted by a large, welcoming living space. Beyond that are a dining area and kitchen. The big 3 seasons porch has potential extra sleeping, weather permitting. The bedrooms and bathroom are to the left side of the property.
Although, you'll probably want to spend most of your time out of doors, there are games and books and cozy seating for the evening or a rainy day.

The property is approximately 3 miles from the New South Shore train station.

There is limited Uber and Lyft service for the area.

Perfect getaway

I wanted a place to take my mom for her 70th birthday along with her 2 friends and a couple family members. It was a cute/quaint location and we all had a very cozy stay. Being right on the beach was ideal and the house had plenty of space and beach supplies to enjoy a lovely weekend for her birthday. We even spotted a baby deer and her momma! Would 100% come again.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect, just a short distance from the beach and the nearby state park, which made it easy to enjoy the beautiful scenery and local spots. March weekend getaway

This is a beautiful property. The house is spacious, with really warm and fun decor. It has everything you'd need for a beach vacation, and then some.The view is gorgeous! The house is only steps away from the beach and the lake. We were there in March, in like 40 degrees F weather and rainy, but even these beach walks were amazing. The nights were so quiet all we could hear was the lake and the wind. I now want to come back in the summer. Many thanks to our hosts for this perfect little vacation!

With the forecast of strong Aurora chances we headed north hoping to catch the northern lights. This would have been a great spot had the Canadian wildfire smoke not moved in. The stay was very comfortable and we had all we needed.

The beach is a short walk away and is beautiful and private. The house was a perfect fit for the two of us. The sunroom was warm during the day but the rest of the house was very comfortable. Close to plenty of things…hiking, zoo, food, groceries. Thank you!

There is a hill between the lake and the cottage so you barely see the water when you are sitting on the back deck of the cottage. It is a long walk (about 200 yards) to get to the lake. Please be aware the TV in the cottage is quite small and you need a Roku account to access any college football games on the weekend. However, the cottage is very rustic and comfortable.

This property is an excellent location for beach access and scenery. We even had deer greet us. The inside is outdated which makes it feel like it’s not clean. We were left with no toilet paper and garbage bags. TV has Roku and you need to create an account if you don’t have one. We’ve never had a rental without tv service. The property manager was quick at responding to our questions. Location is the #1 draw here.
