"Staying at the historic Prince of Wales Hotel is a unique and special experience. Set on a windy knoll overlooking the village of Waterton and the turquoise waters of Waterton Lake, the views towards the steep glacial formed mountains are breathtaking. What you can't tell by the photos is the taste of meals. Wow! Try the Kenow Chicken that pays homage to the Kenow Wildfire that burned 39% Waterton Lakes National Park in 2017. I was blown away by the flavors and creativity of each dish. Surprisingly, a large number of the dishes are created to accommodate dietary restrictions. The international staff took pride in their work and were enthusiastic about being there. As the Prince of Wales Hotel was built in 1926-1927, one should not expect some of the modern conveniences such as soundproof walls; earplugs are provided in every room. While we were there, we enjoyed stunning hikes in the beautiful hidden gem that is Waterton Lakes National Park."

"Wonderful stay while we toured Waterton. Only 15 min from the townsite. We used our kayaks at Payne Lake steps from the house. Very comfortable stay and had everything we needed! The views are breathtaking and lots of room for a big family!"
