"Hotel very close to 91 & 95. Easy & free parking. Wonderful front desk. The building is very interesting and worth staying for that alone. Much is electric in the room and hard to navigate. The blinds are hard to adjust with the control at the door, not near the blinds. The lights in the bathroom go on when you walk by -- even at night when you might not want them to do that. Hard to adjust the bathroom lights to be bright enough for make up, no close up mirror. The mattress, pillows & sheets...

Didn't care for the area though, I was racially discriminated against just standing out on the sidewalk along Asylum street. I dont plan on ever coming back to Hartford but if by some act of God, I had to c9me back no matter what, Id stay at the Goodwin."
