The house was spacious and comfortable. Only about a 10-15 minute drive to beaches and downtown Newport. The owners were very kind, accommodating and knowledgeable about Newport and the surrounding area. Access to the pool was a lovely addition. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay and location

Fantastic stay in the heart of RI, closely located to Newport & Providence. Hosts were super friendly with all requests (live next door) The house was stocked with all the items we needed for a short trip. AC worked very well, and we enjoyed the large backyard with grill and pool. Would highly recommend for any families looking for a place to relax, while being central to local attractions.

Great house centrally located!

We had a great time at Kate and Jim’s house! The house was comfortable and clean with on site parking. Its central location made it easy for us to get to all the attractions and sights. The pool was very refreshing and the backyard was beautiful. Looking forward to our next stay!

Perfect Stay!

This rental was awesome!! It was far enough away from the Newport hustle and bustle to be relaxing, but close enough for anything we needed. It was clean, well stocked, and the owners were very friendly and attentive. We will be recommending this rental to anyone that asks, and if we visit the Newport area again, it will be our go-to spot!

Family Trip to RI

Short family trip to RI. Owners were suoer seeet. It was nice to have the pool and backyard for the kids to unwind. We also enjoyed an amazing breakfast at their restaurant (The Hungry Monkey) before heading home.

Everything was wonderful! The hosts were so easy to communicate with and genuinely thoughtful. Although the weather didn’t cooperate having a pool in the back was great! Lots of space to spread out- conveniently located to literally everything! Would absolutely recommend!

The house & property was better than it looks (this never happens)! This is the best rental we’ve stayed at hands down! It’s huge, spacious, clean & not cluttered. The yard, patio & pool were all amazing while Kate & Jim were beyond lovely & accommodating. Were already planning our next stay there.

Great location and the house had plenty of room for all of us. The dishwasher didn't work and one of the towel racks was broken upstairs, but the beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels for all of us. Thank you!

Our group of 7 had an excellent experience at this rental. Jim and Kate are wonderful hosts and made our stay very comfortable. The house is roomy and has a very nice back yard and patio. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Stores nearby for convenient grocery shopping. Not too far from Newport's downtown area. Definitely recommend!

Amazing stay

I found this vbro for my mother and family to stay at during my wedding in Newport. The house was perfect very spacious and accommodating. The pool was a great touch, my nephews got to jump in. The host was so kind, always there if we needed help (we locked ourselves out once and they came right over to help). They also let us check out late because we were packing up all of this wedding stuff. Overall fabulous stay we definitely recommend them.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a small hiccup upon arrival and the owner took care of it immediately. House was plenty big and clean. FYI — the pool is in the backyard of the neighbor’s house. The listing isn’t clear on that.

Great Property for a Large Group Visiting Newport!

The home is settled on a quiet street but is extremely close to grocery stores and is a short drive/uber ride to get into Newport! The location was perfect! There was plenty of seating and the rooms were comfortable for a large group. The only downside to the rooms were that the beds were pushed up against the walls, making access harder for one of the guests. Also, while there is a pool on the property, it is behind the neighbor's home in a conjoined yard. One night that we considered using it, it was already being used by the neighbors outside. The pool probably should not be advertised as a feature of the home if others will be using it. That being said, we were extremely pleased with our stay and would consider staying again.

The house was spacious and comfortable. Someone took great care to create a beach theme throughout the house. We really appreciated the beach chairs and boogie boards to use at the beach. The house was in a great location, within 10 minutes of everything we wanted to do while we were in town for a wedding. The kitchen is not well equipped if you plan to cook. There was one sauté pan that was in ok shape, but the one sauce pan needs to be replaced. There were plenty of cups and dishes but limited cooking supplies. The dishwasher did not work so we had to rewash all the dishes we used prior to using, and hand wash after using them. We used the dishwasher as a drying rack. We spent a long time talking with the owner, and he was a lovely and gracious host.
