- The River House is a large farmhouse, that borders the scenic Juniata River, with a stone section built in the 1790s. Enjoy canoeing, fishing, swimming, campfires, and more! Watch and listen to the trains across the river as they go by. There is plenty of space to relax, but also so many things to do for those looking for entertainment. The home comes with a large 1 acre plus yard for recreation and games. The back porch is equipped with a grill to compliment the firepit. The house is located one mile from downtown Mifflintown but is relatively private and tucked away. If you are looking to host an event or book a wedding, check out the-river-house.com !
