"We loved that the property was close to town but very quiet. There’s a wonderful view of the mountains from the second floor wrap around porch. It’s a quaint establishment with some history. We enjoyed two outstanding breakfasts. Paul is a gracious, friendly and knowledgeable host. "

"Clean room friendly check in. However, if I had not had my top lock locked someone could have walked in my room around 10 p.m . I heard the doorknob open and the top lock stopped any one from coming in."

The house is exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for a month stay. Our favorite thing was sitting in the chairs by the river and just relaxing… we would highly recommend a stay at this excellent VRBO!"

"Check-in was seamless! Host was very flexible and we received all necessary information prior to our arrival. House was clean and well appointed. Was equipped with everything you could possibly want or need to prepare meals. Plenty of room to ensure everyone had privacy and room to stretch out. The children in our party loved the large yard and creek. Spent many hours enjoying the outdoor experience. Firepit was a nightly event. Very nice for the whole family to enjoy the gathering together. Would recommend this house and plan to return in the future. "

"Great, quiet, out of the way cabin. Well appointed with wverything you need to stay as long as you like. We really enjoyed our stay. Be aware that it is 20 minutes to the nearest grocery so bring your food. Also, the road to Nantahala lake is very curvy and the 10 mile drive will take 45 minutes but is worth the drive."
