Beautiful view very relaxing, The place is very charming and has everything that you might need. We got to see some leaves changing and cooler weather and enjoyed the fireplace.
Our host was wonderful, answered on my questions, sent us things to do, points of interest, the property was impeccably clean, well appointed, has beautiful views and is absolutely wonderful!!!
This place is perfect, the cabin was truly lovely with a beautiful view of the lake. Very clean, tidy and well appointed, the kitchen had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving dinner. Amy the host was an email away and responded timely.
Absolutely wonderful, the cabin was stocked, more than any rental we have had, the road was a challenge, but once at the cabin, beautiful and relaxing overlooking the lake, i look forward to my next visit
The cabin was fantastic for a long weekend stay. We really appreciated all of the cooking supplies, coffee and decorations. Very cozy cabin and a wonderful view.
There is a great Ingles grocery store in Lake Lure that is a 25 minutes drive one way on two lane mountain roads. Definitely recommend stocking up before you arrive because once you get to this fabulous lakefront cabin, you are not going to want to leave. We are looking forward to returning next year.
Loved our stay! Probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in… you could eat off the floor! (Not that we did… lol) Lake view was wonderful. Loved to sit on the back porch and relax. Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, plus a grill out back. The scenic drive to the house through the neighborhood was also wonderful. 10/10 would come back again for sure
Clean, quaint, & beautiful. I recommend this place to anyone who wants an outstanding view of lake adger! The chalet was well maintained and very comfortable!
We enjoyed our visit immensely. The view of the lake and mountains were relaxing. The cabin was beautifully decorated and the beds were extremely comfy. It has been a delight to communicate with Amy. Thank you for sharing your home with us and making our anniversary trip extra special.
Hare’s Hideaway was the perfect place for our visit to the area. The peacefulness of the chalet and lake were just what we needed. Nice, clean, cozy - every little detail was thought of. Thanks!
The chalet was very cozy, and from the back deck and screened-in porch was a beautiful, close up view of Lake Adgar. We loved spending time out there! We'll go again!
The cabin was perfect, clean and cozy with the best view. We used to stay next door and find this place very sentimental. The owner provided everything that was needed, including coffee and linens. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and really peaceful environment. I would be happy to go.back
We fell in love with the cabin! The lake is so peaceful.. far away from people but not to far you can't have food delivered! 10 out of 10 would stay agin!
Beautiful view of the lake. Clean and nicely decorated Chalet. Well stocked kitchen. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Wonderful place for a weekend getaway!
This cabin is cozy and comfy. The lake view is beautiful. We loved the welcome basket. Remember to grab logs to enjoy the fireplace. We spent Christmas at the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed the area hiking
This cabin is just as described. It felt like we were right at home. The bed was comfy. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need--we did cook a few meals here. We also checked out several of the local restaurants and towns. We enjoyed several evenings on the enclosed deck--it was just so nice to sit and listen to nature and be lost in your thoughts. The neighborhood is beautiful. There is a cabin next door that can be rented as well--we talked about having our kids/grandkids coming down to the area on another vacation. I would rate this as one of the best stays we've ever had thru a VRBO rental. I will definitely keep this one on my favorites list for a possible future stay.
The property is a cozy chalet that feels like home. Very welcoming at the end of a long active day. The decor is well done with a bear theme. The view of the lake is so very peaceful. Being from PA, I wasn’t expecting the windy drive to the Chalet. The property is one of 4 on the same short street. I would definitely stay there again!
This property was very warm and inviting from the time you stepped over the threshold. It was so quiet and relaxing. The cabin was one of the best stocked rentals I have stayed in. You lacked for nothing. There was even a new Kuerig and frother!! The host was very responsive when we reached out. If you want an out of the way place to stay where it is serene and peaceful, this is the place for you. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are just a hop, skip and a jump away.
Excellent clean, and well maintained property right on lake Adger. The host Amy could not have been better at responding to questions, and even went out of her way with a birthday card, and bottle of wine for my birthday. Which was greatly appreciated. We went hiking at chimney rock state park, and shopped and ate at near by Hendersonville. We loved both! The majority of the time we spent fishing and grilling at the lake house. I highly recommend!!
