"This is possibly my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at. We had a number of things go slightly wrong (the TV needed to be fixed as well as our safe and toilet paper dispenser, housekeeping did not come his scheduled) but the staff was so delightful and they solved every problem with excellence. I would come back to Milwaukee exclusively to stay back at the Pfister."

"Clean room. Breakfast included. Quiet area. The only thing that stands out were the homeless people grabbing food from the buffet. It was nice that the hotel didn’t shame them but just felt a little uneasy about security. The stairs were easily accessible, but you had to use your key card for the elevator. Didn’t make sense because nothing was really lockdown."

"Great place to stay. Safe and secure. Located conveniently to a lot of major attractions, and just a block away from the free HOP trolley. The traffic outside was a bit loud at night. There is a parking garage connected that is $30 per night with elevator access to the hotel. The beds were on the firmer side, but not too bad. The breakfast was very good, and the free drinks and dinner can’t be beat."

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Milwaukee Airport / Oak Creek

"This is an older building but we weren't looking for anything fancy. They don't clean the rooms. Everyday which seems to be the normal at a lot of motels. Good location right off the freeway. Breakfast was a good setup - scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle maker, cereal and yogurt. Only negative was there wasn't much nearby for restaurants."

"Very clean and comfortable. A few trash bags from rooms were left in the back hallway, but that could have been owing to the holiday. TV station selection was adequate. But Fox "News" and not CNN or MSNow? Thank goodness for PBS and its fair and balanced coverage! A printed guide in the room would have been helpful, as the one on the TV was located in a different place and difficult to find."

The Iron Horse Hotel

"Iron Horse is an excellent property! The lobby and lounging areas are so well decorated and inviting, you want to spend as much time there as your room. But the rooms are huge with fabulous decor and amenities so you might not want to leave. We also had dinner at their restaurant - The Yards. We sat in the outdoor area which was spacious with an outdoor bar and various levels and areas to dine. The food was excellent. We only stayed for one night as we were passing through but we hope to get back to Milwaukee some time so we can enjoy a longer stay."
