The drive up to Lifu is incredible. What an amazing place to live. "The Grand Hyatt in Taipei dates back several decades but it has been well maintained and renovated over the years. As a result, it feels quite new and the facilities are modern and in many cases quite beautiful. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained (and clean). Their standard King room isn't luxurious, but it's comfortable and well-outfitted. Very close to the 101 Tower and other shopping outlets. Adjacent to convention center. Superb breakfast buffet and various other restaurants as well."

We booked the Executive Suite since we were traveling with four large suitcases, and the room was adequately spacious, clean, and comfortable. The standout, however, was the exceptional service—from the warm welcome at the front desk to the attentive staff in the restaurant, everyone was polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.
Our room included daily complimentary breakfast, offering a great selection of both Western and local dishes. The food was fresh, delicious, and well-presented—though it can get crowded at peak times.
