The staff was kind and helpful. The facilities were very clean but could use some updating. We were told that we couldn't use the fireplace because they were turned off and that was part of why I liked the room.

Cute place. Nice view. Clean rooms. Quiet. Staff was wonderful. Loved Peggy at the front desk. Perfect place to stay. Having multiple restaurants attached to the hotel was a nice convenience. Oldest running hotel in the state of Minnesota. Has that charm. Not a chain. Even heard some cool ghost stories about the place. Do have to admit, we did hear some doors rattling at night. No explanation. lol. That was great. We want to go back, too. Thank you all for a great stay.

All staff between the inn and the restaurant were very friendly and super helpful. Meals were great....breakfast was delicious and both dinners were excellent. Parking is right outside the door. As was expected, the rooms are small and the air exchange is not the best. The bathroom was small but nice. It is very quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We went for an anniversary trip and we were not disappointed. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Service was fantastic and the room was comfortable and maintained well. The inn had modern conveniences but had great historical touches. The only complaint was that our room didn’t have a fridge/ but the staff let us use their staff fridge for our leftovers. 10/10!

There was a small nail sticking out of the bedframe. I did tell them about the next morning as we were leaving and they said they went and fixed it right away. Its neat place that has 3 restaurants inside. But they got my order wrong and only offered me free dessert..but its ok. The Tommy like wingys were amazing with the garlic sauce.

We loved our stay at the Afton Inn. The employees were all so sweet and helpful! It definitely gave the vibe of a bed and breakfast, more of the homey feel. The restaurants were fun, the coffee shop had a great coffee, and the breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, charming hospitality

This is a historical building (built during civil war) that is charming, comfy and clean. The staff were great and everything about it is easy- parking, food, coffee, ice cream, strolls outside. Perfect for my needs.
