The Old Cottage

"An excellent B&B with welcoming hosts. A beautiful quiet location but still within easy reach of Oban and other activities. We had a large comfy bed and amazing power shower in our room (Islay). The cooked breakfast was delicious and included local ingredients. We would definitely recommend it and hope to stay again. Thanks for a lovely stay."

"The room was clean, but needing a bit of upgrading. Floor a bit unstable. There need to be a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries, washbag, etc. And a tumbler (glass or plastic) in the bathroom would be useful for anyone taking medication. Otherwise fine - and a lovely view!"

"Our room was very warm. Heater was on when we arrived. Turned it off & opened windows but it took a couple hours to cool room down. Table fan helped. Pictures of bathrooms in website showed that there were very spacious. But in fact our bathroom quite small. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into town. Overall the hotel was pleasant & staff very accommodating. Breakfast was plentiful & good."

"Our first visit was amazing and we hope to return! The room, the food, the staff and the views were all spectacular. The walking trails and visit to Tarbert were a wonderful way to spend the day. We absolutely loved every minute of our time there."
