We had breakfast and dinner on both days and couldn't find fault . It was excellent. Saying all of that, the hotels absolute treasure is its staff. They are gems. "We did not have breakfast but regarding the stay, it was excellent. Due to the time of year (just after Christmas), there were very few other guests at the place, but I would expect it would be much more active in the Summer. No complaints."
