The Cottage sits in the famous coastal town Diani Kenya. Mombasa International Airport is one hour away and Ukunda airstrip is ten minutes away. This standalone unit exists in a gated compound with garden, pool, poolside bar, lounge, gazebo, outdoor Terrace area for relaxing or dining and a kitchen. The Diani crystal white sandy beaches is within 500m and everything else is within 10min. You could also take off to the famous national parks like the Maasai Mara National park via Ukunda Airstrip

Wonderful Week!

We had a wonderful time! The cottage is close to the pool, a short walk to the beach, and a short Tuk Tuk ride to some great local restaurants and an ample supermarket! It was everything I anticipated! The bed was super comfy, and nice to have air conditioning overnight! Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils and pans etc. Everyone on the little compound were so helpful, and offered additional support, advice and recommendations! I look forward to returning!

Das Objekt war sauber, der Pool wird gereinigt. Man muss wissen, dass alles dem Landesstandard entsprechend ausgestaltet ist. Es ist ok aber nicht Luxuriös. Das grosse Schlafzimmer hat eine Klimaanlage. Der Pool wird auch von anderen Urlaubern genutzt. Das steht nicht in der Beschreibung. Auch der Weg zum Strand ist länger. Ich bin aber zufrieden und habe die gerne Anlage genutzt. Das Toilettenpapier und auch das Trinkwasser mussten wir selbst zahlen.

Urlaub mit Umständen

Das gebuchte Objekt war tatsächlich erst drei später verfügbar. Währenddessen brachte man uns in einem Apartment unter, welches jedoch in keinem guten Zustand war und die Umgebung war dreckig. Nach dem Umzug ins eigentlich Okjekt, war uns die dortige Managerin Sarah eine große Hilfe. Die Putzfrau Diana war sehr gründlich und nett. Wir hätten uns die Nachfrage der Vermieterin gewünscht, ob alles ok ist. Das hat leider nicht stattgefunden. Küchenutensilien waren nur begrenzt und in schlechtem Zustand vorzufinden (siehe Bratpfanne, nicht wirklich nutzbar und Töpfe zu groß und ohne Deckel). Die Dusche ließ sich Temperatur technisch nicht einstellen und der Duschkopf funktionierte nur begrenzt. Das Gelände rund um den Pool, könnte man renovieren. Die Anlage liegt in ruhiger Umgebung und ist nahe am Strand.
