We had the penthouse apartment which had a fabulous private roof terrace with table and chairs and sun loungers which we made use of due to having great weather in March. "We stayed here 10 days. My husband cooked almost every night and loved how well supplied the kitchen was. I was grateful that the beds are more comfortable than the average rock slab that seems to be the mainstay in Portugal and Spain (LOL). The water heater cannot handle two hot showers in a row, so you'll want to space them out, and the shower is very small, so be aware if you are a bigger person. I am a very light sleeper and the road noise bothered me. My husband is not a light sleeper and he slept fine. It's an easy walk to multiple grocery stores and the market, to the ferry dock, and to the train station. The weather was not conducive to us using the rooftop patio, but it was an awesome space and is a definite bonus. We felt very safe exploring the area. Communication with the host was excellent. Thanks for a nice stay!"
