"The staff was accommodating if you didn’t speak their language, they had interpreted for you. The rooms were very clean. The spa was excellent. I have nothing to compare with yet. I had a good time I would visit again."

"We just spent a perfect 5 days at Villa Elena Agia Pelagia. Our host, George, was lovely throughout and gave us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and places to go. The house is a private oasis, but a quick few minutes walk into town. The nearest market is less than 5 minutes away. The rooms are comfortable and the house functioned really well for the 4 of us. We loved the pool and the terrace and that fabulous view. Thanks so much, George, for a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back."

"I arrived at the Ambelos with a clenched jaw and tension headache, I left a week later a completely different person. Everything at the Ambelos made me relaxed. The beautiful environment, the stunning scenery, the generous pool, the convenience of the facilities. The property was spotless and Andreas and the team take such care of the place and their guests, in a calm and friendly crete style manner. Fresh figs offered from the garden, a smile and a chat, it felt more like a retreat, a home away from home. At times it was so quiet I felt I was there alone, when almost all rooms were taken. The location means a car is useful, especially for getting food. However I did survive using public transport and could walk to the beach in 15 mins, and supermarkets closeish by. As a solo traveller I felt safe the entire time, in the hotel and surrounding areas. I'm already looking at deals to come back. Thanks Andreas and the team for a wonderful relaxed week!"
