Friendly staff and a great location. Old building but a great renovation. Little noise at night but right in the centre of restaurants, harbour and attractions. Good trade off for the location.
Good central
Location on the port. Comfortable room. Water replenished every day. Breakfast at nearby cafe was very good. Nice small rooftop although only open in afternoon. Check in was ready early for us. Host was very helpful. Clear glass shower room in bedroom which was unusual.because on a busy road it was noisy at night but it didn’t put us off.
Everything okay, is located directly at the old harbour in the middle of the old town. Not accessible by car. Parking only outside of the old town. Several restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. Bed, bathroom, service and room decor very good.
What a fantastic stay... loved the seaport view from the bathroom and the sitting area. Even though it’s right in the heart of everything, it was peaceful. The bed was spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the rooftop is the perfect spot to unwind.
The room itself is beautifully designed, with soaring ceilings, elegant window coverings, and a stunning, modern bathroom. The multi-head glass shower enclosure with built-in LED lighting felt like a spa experience.
Nino and Beatrice were gracious, professional, and welcoming. The off-site breakfast is just a 30-second stroll into the main square and was hands down the best out of 10 different stays during an 18-day whirlwind through Puglia. This quaint little hotel, with its stunning views of the port, was a true highlight.
A beautiful boutique hotel.
**Grazie di cuore, Nino!**

This is an unusual sort of quirky place with lots of good things and a few things to be aware of.
The good:
- It’s located just inside the historic center so it’s a short walk from a taxi drop to the hotel and staff are willing to come to where you are dropped to help with your bags.
- The shower is wonderful - lots of hot water, good pressure, spray jets and both a handheld and rain can.
- Bathrobes are provided as is water, coffee & tea.
- There are only 3 rooms in the main building and there is a table for each in a reception area so you have a space to sit outside your room.
Things to be aware of:
- The bed was described as a King but it seemed small and short.
- There is no elevator which may make access difficult for some guests. Thankfully staff helped get our luggage up and down the steps.
- The safe was extremely small so if you have larger things or want to keep an iPad in the safe you are out of luck.
- There is no breakfast room in the hotel but the owner has a cafe that is very close. It does however mean walking there and we had some very stormy days. While the coffee and pastries were good, the rest of the food was not (e.g., fruit that was not yet ripe but served anyway, a very burnt omelette). What we did really like about the cafe was that it was usually full of locals so we experienced a less touristy slice of Italy.
On balance it was a good pick for us but the quirky features meant we couldn’t rate it more than a 3/5.
Great location and helpful staff, no WiFi in room.
Great location and wonderful staff.
AC worked perfectly. Interesting design, Glass enclosed shower stall in center of bedroom. I am 6 feet tall and could not stand up in parts of the bathroom and when using the steep stairs. (No lift).
Lovely roof deck with large jacuzzi tub. They provide breakfast at two local restaurants that do a great job!
Only major problem; WIFI DOES NOT WORK IN THE ROOM. I had to go out to shared sitting are just out in the hall for any Internet or cell phone service.
That was a big inconvenience on the week days when I was there.
Also please note , no driving or parking near hotel. You can drop bags about a block away. Highest quality linens and bedding.
Wonderful clean and spacious flat walking to everything. 5 minute walk to train station and ferry and located on great shopping street next to old town. I would highly recommend. Very comfortable and even an ocean view and breeze!
The room was beautiful and being located right in the middle of historic town there were lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Some of the nearby bars do play relatively loud music until midnight so if you are a light sleeper this may be an issue for you. I would definitely stay here again.
Very nice room, comfortable and well-appointed. Love the hot tub on the rooftop. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. A little odd to have glass doors into the bathroom--not a lot of privacy but otherwise all great. Breakfast at a nearby cafe is limited. Location is great.
Most comfortable, best staff, sparkling clean, stunning views. This was far the best hotel we ever stayed in some many ways. The staff Beatrice, Nino and Giuseppe made us feel very special every day, they have been so caring about every single detail of our staying. The cleanness of the hotel was impeccable and the staff was so professional and kind to us, we are speechless. There are only 3 rooms in the hotel so the terrace is nearly private with an amazing pool and the most stunning view from Monopoli.
It’s impossible to get within a half a mile of the hotel to unload bags as it is located in a pedestrian only street. Also the write up said staff was available until 8 PM but stafff left at 6 PM. Also no elevator to get to the rooms thus bags need to be carried up a narrow stair well.
I chose this hotel specifically because of the advertised amenities, particularly the air conditioning, which was crucial due to my wife’s health condition.
Firstly, the most pressing concern was the lack of climate-controlled air conditioning in our room, despite it being clearly stated in the room description. Instead of a functioning air conditioning system, the master bedroom was equipped with three fans, one of which was barely connected and could not provide adequate cooling. These fans merely circulated hot air around the room, making the environment uncomfortable and unsuitable, particularly given my wife’s health condition that made it difficult for her to handle excessive heat. Secondly, upon entering the master bedroom, we were appalled to find ants on the bed, indicating a lack of cleanliness. Finally, the room description also mentioned a living room, which was a key factor in our decision to book this particular accommodation. However, what we encountered was a kitchen with a pull-out sofa—hardly the living room we were led to believe we would have. These discrepancies between what was advertised and what was provided were not only disappointing but unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expected that the services and amenities advertised will be provided, especially when those amenities have direct implications for health and safety.
Agradeço à equipe do Console Luxury Suites pela atenção e cordialidade.
O atendimento impecável fez toda a diferença e tornou minha visita a Monópoli ainda melhor.
Juste magique. Nous avons tout aimé. Les personnes pour notre arrivée et notre départ, la chambre intimiste et spacieuse, l’originalité de la douche, le spa sur le toit terrasse donnant sur le port. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation
