Absolutely perfect spot for traveling with young kids and dogs. Super nice staff. Property was very clean. Lower floor area had a pool table. Very nice property and will stay again!!

We have stayed at many Tru hotels, this one was just okay. Right away it was clear that the property is not maintained and everything in general was worn. They staff was nice and the price was better than downtown Detroit since we were just there for one night.

My two grandchildren loved the pool. We enjoyed the breakfasts, but the children would have liked donuts included. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. We will stay at Tru again.

The property needed a bit cleaning up outside…garbage and weeds…not inviting especially either the 5 dollar parking fee! The hallway carpet needed a bit of cleaning. Room was clean but the chair at the desk needed a Clorox wipe cleaning before we would sit in it…bed and towels were clean and bed was comfy.

The rooms are very poorly cleaned. The soap and body wash were empty in our room when we arrived. I watched them cleaning the elevator with a dirty rag, making it worse than before. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful however.

Our room was pretty clean. The hallways had a strong dog stench on our floor. The breakfast wasn’t that good but that’s just my opinion. Friendly staff. Nice amenities. No real complaints.

The property was clean. The staff was awesome. The receptionist, Karen was amazing and very friendly and very helpful and I enjoyed my stay and I will be back on the 31st and I'll be staying another week. See you soon.

Hello, I truly enjoyed my interactions with most of your staff. Erin your night shift worker came in early and still responded very well to kindness as did Cheryl, the very kind day shift worker. Even though both those ladies had to cover someone else's shift they were so pleasant and kind. The Breakfast lady however should put a sign on top of the pancake machine telling people not to lift the lid. because her did not respond well to kindness when my son accidently opened the lid. The room and bathroom were large which was nice, however, I really did not like that there as no carpet in the room. you get out of bed on to a cold floor, never mind the dirt you bring into the bed. also, the bed did not fit the frame, so the frame sticks out. Tyler at the front desk when we checked in was great. He was nice and was working hard to keep the lobby and pool table area clean. Then there was house keeping, they were rude, let us know they were understaffed. We told her all we needed were towels didn’t need our room clean, she let us know she was busy and we used the same towels for 3 days.
