Room was very dirty. Lamps were missing bulbs and kept flickering. TV remote did not work. Towels and sheets were pilled, dingy and grayish. Carpet was very worn. Front staff was pleasant and welcoming.

At check-in the staff was very professional through the night something bit me and I mentioned it to the morning clerk her response I took as very unprofessional so I decided not to stay another night here. I did take a picture of what was left of the insect that bit me. All the clerk said was whatever it was I wouldn’t have slept in that bed.
This is what bit me through the night I reported it and left it so the housekeeper could see it too

The room smelled horrible; like mildew maybe but the scent was very strong. It needed to be dusted because it seemed like that room had not been used recently. The front door didn’t seem like it locked securely because you could jiggle it when looked and it seemed like it would open easily.

Nice friendly motel

The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. The few dowsides were the bathroom, especially around the bottom of toilet and bath tub-could of been cleaner. The beds were comfortable but felt like older mattresses. We enjoyed the quick breakfast and coffee.

The room was left in horrible condition the door knob was loose and not properly secured and the refrigerator was going out and making noise all night, also the microwave was left running and would have blown up had we not walked in .

Escaped Tallahassee for Hurricane Helene with myself, boyfriend, 3 babies & our dog. We brought lots of toys, a grill and an extra tv. Super spacious. The kids basically had their own living room. Got a Walmart order delivery to grill. Literally the only thing I can think to complain about was the size of the towels. They were small. Enjoyed our stay. We had fun & made memories. Thank you 🙏

Room was 94 degrees and owner said there was nothing he could do. He said I will have to wait for son to go down for it to cool off.

Did not get any rest there was mold in the toilet and on the carpet. The sheet as well as the towels were stained and dingy and the police had to be called because a lady was beating on my door first and proceeded to beat for an hour on the next door, blood was everywhere and she continued to come back screaming and beating on the door

Our Monroeville Mockingbird Stay

The pros: Our stay was fine. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. The cons: The pool area needs attention. Four tables; two were broken. Only TWO chairs total. No recliner chairs. The water was clear, but the grounds needed sweeping. The continental breakfast was ok, but could use a little more variety. The waffle maker was the highlight. No bagels, no fruit, no eggs- boiled or otherwise. Overall the stay was fine. We love the Mockingbird theme. We liked the vegetable gardening that we say around the back of the buildings. I’d give our stay a 9 out of 10.
