"I loved this hotel! It had everything you needed and felt very relaxed and unpretentious. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the pool area and rooftop bar were both great. I also had a relaxing facial and massage in the spa. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. The barman in the rooftop bar was hilarious - trying to be grumpy but making me his “special” cocktails which were delicious 😋. I will definitely return the next time I’m in Funchal! "

"We received excellent service during our 3 day stay. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was exceptional, both for the breakfast included and for dinner in the evening. The varied menu and quality of food exceeded our expectations. The location was also excellent for travellers with a car. It was well placed to access local walks and to explore the mountains higher up. Parking was always available in the property car park during our stay in mid October. "
