Location is excellent and the main reason we picked this hotel
Parking is valet only and at a cost but is convenient and another reason we picked this hotel
I really enjoyed my stay here. The property location is the best part. The hotel is steps away from everything. The rooftop bar and restaurant are amazing. The view of the city was breathtaking and the food delicious. I had a little private patio where I really enjoyed my morning espresso. I would definitely stay again. The coffee shop attached to the hotel is a must-try!
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Hotel William Gray. The concierge was very helpful with planning our outings and answering our questions. The room was very nice, bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing!
Great location. We stayed on the entrance side and had a lot of noise at night. You could hear them getting the garbage. It was very loud. The hotel was very nice. I think if we had a room on the other side we would have been fine. Location was perfect. We enjoyed the coffee shop right outside the door and the pizza from Bevos across the street.
Lovely rooms, delicious breakfast and courteous staff.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Favorite hotel in Montreal and it's not close. Perfect location. Wonderful hotel and the people that run it are even better. One of my favorite places to stay anywhere in North America
Great location! Close and walkable to everything old town! Showers were great! Bed was very comfortable . We had 2 rooms but one of them was a bit damp smelling and not so good. Also had a coweb so we needed the cleaning staff to come and clean.
Other than that - great stay!
Love the rooftop
The rooms were nice, I had 3 of them for my group. There was a cobweb in a pretty obvious place in my suite, which bothered my wife but other than that they were clean and well maintained and for me the bed was firm and comfy.
The small gym needs a little TLC e.g. the wipe dispenser was empty and it could use a good dusting but those are the extent of the cons.
Location, location, location. Hotel was at the heart of where I wanted to be as a first-timer to the area. Looks to do and walkable for what we had planned. We loved being at the epicenter of the things that we had planned.
Where the hotel really shines was their staff. The front desk personnel were welcoming and helpful but it was the valet team that set the bar as they were the first staff with whom we interacted and the last we dealt with as we had a rental car that required parking onsite.
Everyone on that crew was outstanding, helpful, friendly and bent over backwards to accommodate us. Huge props to the staff.
Loved our stay and highly recommend you seriously consider staying here if you get the chance.
Clean room, well appointed but not a lot of character in the rooms - lots of cement; however, the rest of the hotel - lobby, bars, restaurants are gorgeous.
