Had I seen the outside of the hotel, i would never have booked it. However, it was dark when we arrived and so it went unseen (although there was plenty of scaffolding). The staff when we arrived were helpful and kind. I chose too small a room (my bad - 17). BUT the towels were soft and fluffy; the room spotlessly clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. Finally, the bed was very comfy! A very central location.

Room was just the right size for the two of us. We stayed 4ish nights. Not too small if you’re just using it for sleeping and relaxing. Everything was in good working condition. Shower was nice, got very hot. TV worked. The bed was a standard hotel bed. We did not have noisy room neighbors thankfully but did hear someone’s phone buzzing nearby a few times so I could see how it could potentially be not so great if you’ve got someone loud next door. Using a code to get into the building and room is a little clunky but it seems like that’s the best solution with the current renovations happening and it does keep the building pretty secure it seems. Awesome part of town to be in, we walked to the old port a bunch and took the metro many times. Bus stops are close by too. Would have been even better if it had a water bottle refiller machine.

This was a great place to stay. The building is older and has fairly small rooms, but they don’t advertise more than that. For the price, right in to old town Montreal, it was an excellent value. Clean, comfortable and great staff. Would definitely stay again.

I appreciate the air conditioning, the comfortable bed, the beautiful bathroom and the excellent location. What I didn’t appreciate was the thin doors where you could hear other guests, conversations, and TVs, the rundown, dirty lobby and stairwell. The exterior is under construction, so was very difficult to find in the night with the hotel sign covered up by scaffolding.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that although the comfortable bed did sleep two, the room was so small that one of us had to either climb over the other person or slide into the bed from the bottom. It was extremely awkward. I think it would have made more sense to say it only slept one or at least describe where the bed was positioned (against the wall)

I just can’t believe that a room with a bed and bathroom was this much. No fridge or microwave, and barely any space to put your stuff down. Otherwise, the bathroom was nice, it had two big towels, shampoo and conditioner, and a blow dryer. There was also a TV in the room and the air conditioning worked very well with good black out curtains. No elevator in the building but otherwise in a great location with two coffee shops/cafes across the street. No parking on site. Parking in a garage down the street which was $25 for a full 24 hours.

This hotel is in a great location. However, it is literally a room and a bathroom. No many fridge no desk no extra chairs no closet space no iron. Anything of the sort. So if you’re going stay there 2-3nights this hotel could be the place for you. However, I paid $600 for this hotel well in advance. Day of rates were fraction of the price which was extremely frustrating. Given the fact that the hotel looks wise is not great and it’s just an OK building. We were very cozy and comfortable, and felt safe. I wouldn’t stay there again.

We requested assistance with setting the air conditioner and received excellent support; however, despite this, the unit would not remain on for more than 30 seconds when adjusted to a lower temperature and would automatically shut off. Overall, the hotel provided a very positive experience. The room was cozy, the bathroom was exceptional, the view from the window was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable. Additionally, the stay offered great value for the cost.

The staff were amazing super flexible, and very kind!! The property was good, room was fairly clean but I found that the sheets and towels had stains in them. Aside from that, the room was spacious and good sized. I also found there was no room service. Towels and sheets were not changed throughout the stay.
