The apartment is what we expected. The neighborhood had great restaurants in walking distance and was close to McGill which was perfect for us. With saying this, we were not aware that it was right across the street from a night club and the noise was in the street until 4am. We quickly got ear plugs which made it better but did not get a great sleep in the 4 nights there.

The bed is up a ladder and placed on a unfinished wood floor. The ceiling in that room is maybe 3 feet. To go to the bathroom means going down the ladder and crawling back to bed. The room was nice it was also very clean. The club across the street can be heard every night until 3. If your sleeping in the loft you don’t hear it much. The apartment has a great location. Do not have a car. It is a waste. 2 blocks away is parking for 30 per day with no in and outs. Everything you need is right next to the apartment. If your young and mobile this is your place.

The property is conveniently located with nearby restaurants. Unfortunately it is across the street from Cafe Campus, an extremely noisy club open until 3 am on weekends. Also, the pictures of each unit are a bit deceptive. You need to carefully scroll through website to make sure you are looking at accurate pictures of the unit.

This was a perfect place to stay for a visit to Montreal. The place is comfortable and spacious. Location is safe and right in the heart of the plateau neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

Property is located within walkable distance to dining, cafes, St Catherine St and Old Town. Suite size feels a fair bit smaller than what’s advertised on Expedia. Furnishings and kitchen utensils can best be described as adequate and there is a constant noise from the water pipes, likely from the water tank operation. Bathroom size is small.

I had a wonderful 4-day stay in Montreal. The location was absolutely perfect—within walking distance of the mural events, restaurants, bars, and only about a 2-minute walk to the main street. Everything was very convenient and easy to access. The host was excellent with communication and made the stay smooth and comfortable. The unit itself was super nice, very clean, and exactly what I hoped for. The beds and pillows were especially comfortable, which made a big difference after long days exploring the city. Overall, I really liked everything about this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal.

The apartment was clean however every night outside my window there were so many teenagers outside drinking and smoking until 05:00. There were over 100 teenagers outside so loud every night that it disrupted our sleep. The apartment is in a slummy area where drug addicts were slumped over on the sidewalk. I was disappointed for the price.

Misleading Listing – Travelers beware: this listing contains misleading information and does not accurately reflect the location, parking situation, or family-friendly neighborhood advertised. The apartment is directly across from a nightclub and a strip club, with large rowdy crowds gathering late into the night. There was constant yelling, fighting, and noise outside our windows until the early hours of the morning. The listing was also misleading regarding parking. It states on-site parking is available, but there is no parking at the property or on the street without a permit. We spent a significant amount of time searching for parking and even received a $380 parking ticket after parking on the street without a permit. The apartment itself is acceptable, but the listing does not accurately represent bad neighbourhood its in or the parking situation. If you're traveling with children or relying on the advertised parking, I strongly recommend choosing a different property. What was even more disappointing was Expedia's response. I contacted Expedia immediately after checking in and requested a refund for the unused nights, unfortunately, they informed me they could not assist because the merchant denied the refund request. What a dissapointment!!

Overall the property was great, very clean. Team at LIV MTL was incredibly responsive and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. They offered for us to check in early and provided a complimentary bottle of wine, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only thing to note is that the properly is located near a night club so it does tend to be a bit crowded in the evenings. It did not interfere with our stay.
