"Great place to stop over and explore the Northumberland National Park. Very pet friendly accomodation and bar. All staff were very helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the evening meal.The menu is vast and caters for all dietary needs. Large portions and very tasty -compliments to the chef. The inn has a really comfy cosy atmosphere and we had an amazing view from our room. The breakfast was very generous with great service too. Highly recommend."

"The room was superb, tastefully renovated and with everything you could want, including s mini fridge with fresh milk and a coffee machine. Unfortunately it is also on a very busy road so was very noisy. Rooms at the back may be better."
