A great overnight stay
Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I can’t recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay.
Not forgetting the pub attached……where we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie we’ve ever had with great personal service too.
We’d highly recommend the Rose & Thistle and look forwards to staying again when next in the area.

Place was clean.
Bedroom was small, the bed was small and a bit short. Disappointed not to have a kettle and water in the room as I have many medications to take.
Breakfast was excellent.
The evening meal wasn't that nice but this is a different business to the B & B side.
Having to pay £150 deposit for the evening meal I felt was wrong especially as we were booked in as staying guests. The service charge of £31 was also wrong as the meal and menu wasn't the best and we had to choose before hand for our food.

Kleines B&B, sehr netter Empfang in angenehmer Umgebung. Persönliche Atmosphäre.
Restaurant/Pub im Nachbarort, ca 2,5km entfernt. Gut zu Fuss zu erreichen, mit gutem Angebot.
Beides sehr zu empfehlen.
