"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful building. A really comfortable, quirky hotel, very convenient for sightseeing. Access direct to the station is a bonus. Staff very pleasant and helpful. There was a good variety to choose from at breakfast but hot dishes could have been warmer."

"The hotel is very well located, the reception and concierge personnel were super, very helpful. Some of the F&B personnel were not as attentive as they should have been. As guests of the hotel, we would have expected complimentary use of the pool and thought £50pp for a “session” was exorbitant."

"The hotel is brilliant, location is fantastic especially if travelling by train. The rooms were clean, spacious and well stocked with tea coffe etc. and great to have a fridge in the room with bottle water. Great having proper milk in a bottle it is was a great addition. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Food was superb in the restaurant and breakfast room"
