"Good location, close to a lot of stuff downtown. Older building but the rooms were in good condition and clean. Everything worked as it should. The bathroom door latch would stick a little and had to rotate knob to make it close but wasn't a big deal. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking lot was enclosed with a wall making access more restricted and safer. Accidentally left my car unlocked overnight and had no problems. I would stay there again."

"We were told our luggage would be in our room by 4:00 PM, but it wasn’t delivered until 5:20 PM, causing us to miss our dinner reservation. The room was also extremely loud from street noise, and we couldn’t sleep until well after 1:30 AM. There was also an unexpected destination amenity fee. When we raised these issues, we were told nothing could be done because we booked through a third party. Very disappointed, especially given the cost of the stay and missing the reservation that was one of the main reasons for our trip. We made a complaint to the Director of Front Office and were told there was nothing they could do because we booked through a third party. This experience has made it clear that booking through Expedia offers no protection or support. I will book directly with hotels going forward. Very disappointed. We spent a lot of money and didn’t even make the reservation that was one of the main reasons for our trip."

"The Rock bar had good drink specials all the time. They needed more food options in the food court and everything shut down too soon. It would be nice to have some options for people that were coming back late or wanted to eat and gamble after midnight though. The room was nice, clean and staff was friendly. "

"Siren Hotel is a really cute, dog-friendly hotel that has a unique feel to it. I really like the vibe of it, the room is very clean but it is small. They were flexible with check-out being pushed an hour later, which I appreciate. I love Chenin, the wine bar attached. The valet parking is outrageously expensive though for Detroit $55/night. It feels very overpriced. This is the primary reason why I gave it 4 stars over 5."
