"I didn’t like the fact that there weren’t umbrellas at the pool . The Florida sun is brutal , umbrellas are a MUST !! Drinks from the bar were weak or watered down . Beverage machines were always empty or sold out . I went to 6 machines in total . I stood there 28 days so it was quite disappointing ."

"Very convenient when going to and from Universal parks. Central location to food and shopping. We had a room credit that we could use in the cafeteria which had late hours and was also very convenient. And the Starbucks was a good one. Haha highly recimmend staying here."

"Last time when we visited Universal two years ago, we stayed at Dockside and we liked it. Surfside is smaller but it is more convenient. The food was good and reasonably priced. There is a Walgreens right across the street, if you want to get some cereals or milk. In general, it was a good stay."
