"We had a great time at this cabin. We rented it for our anniversary. It’s right off the main road in summer haven. It’s still private even though it’s right off the street and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Only downside was this cabin had only 2 pans for cooking so cooking was a little hard but other then that it was great"

"My family loved our weekend at the Bear Cabin. The bedroom and bathroom downstairs was perfect for our elderly father. The location is perfect for walking. The little covered fenced in area in the back was great for the dogs who didn’t want to go out in the snow . Communication with the hosts was great and they checked in to see if we needed anything. The house was warm and cozy and I we would stay here again. "

"Rose is very sweet and a great host. She really wants you to enjoy their place. We slept 7 adults and 7 kids and had plenty of room! There are lots of games and short (hilly) walk to the Cookie Cabin and shops. We cooked dinners in the house -- the kitchen is wonderful!I would say there are some needs for updates such as no working heat in the lower level. Also the place was pretty clean, it was in need of a more deeper clean soon. In the end, we had a great time and loved having all our family together."

"We enjoyed the cabin - recently renovated and very nice. Great location. But there were no working smoke alarms - they chirped and we had no way to change them on the vaulted ceilings. Discovered the fuse to them had actually been turned off. The fireplace never worked in the living room even after asking guidance from the owners. Ceiling fans didn’t work and lightbulbs were out in several places downstairs. So we loved the trip but there were several issues that never got resolved. "
