This Tennessee cabin rental is in the friendly community of Muddy Pond on The Cumberland Plateau. Conveniently located just 10 miles north of I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville, you can stop in for several days of refreshment or spend a whole week exploring the beauty of the Cumberland. Within easy driving distance of the cabin rental, are nine state parks including, Fall Creek Falls, Big South Fork, Burgess Falls, Cumberland, and Picket. Also nearby are an abundance of public lakes like Dale Hollow Lake and Center Hill. This romantic vacation cabin offers modern amenities and features like a king sized bed and bedside Jacuzzi. The cabin is nestled in hemlocks beside a small private lake, where you can relax in the serenity and enjoy 60 acres of nature and solitude.

Surrounding your cabin rental you can enjoy shopping and browsing a variety of unique shops.

The pictures do not do this place justice! If you are looking for a private, quiet cabin stay to relax you have found it! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Truly, a hidden gem. We will be returning!

Peaceful scenic getaway

It was amazing place to watch the sun come up reflecting from the water. We saw deer and there were fish in the pond. A great central base for hiking in Tennessee.

Relaxing Getaway

Perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Cabin was extremely clean.Caught a few fish. Pier was great setup to fish off. The porch had a beautiful view and was nice to sit under one rainy afternoon. Little shops near by. Saw a bear cub while out driving which was pretty awesome.Highly recommend staying and we plan to come back. Thanks so much.

Property was as described and very clean. It was also well equipped and there were several small touches to reflect that the owner’s take pride in the cabins and care about the experience of the renter. It is “off the beaten path” so I would recommmend taking food and other needed items with you. It was peaceful and private. We had a campfire and enjoying star gazing from the dock ....SO many stars. I caught several small bass but the big ones eluded me. All in all we had a very good time and it was reasonably priced. We would recommend to others!

Peace of Mind

Communication was easy… cabin, pond, land was absolutely beautiful and kept up. Pictures were great but even more beautiful in person. Clean, quit and secluded. This vacation was for myself, wife, 4 yr old granddaughter and my wife’s 87 year old grandfather. No one had any issues getting around. We fished, (and caught several including my granddaughters first) walked, sat around the fire and just relaxed. My granddaughter who loves her peppa pig, bluey and riding her battery tractor did not ask one time to watch the tv. We brought her riding tractor and it never moved. She woke up at 5:30 and went at it all day till 9pm fishing, walking and sitting around the fire. I recommend if you want to get away from the everyday and get back some family time this is the place to go. We loved it and this was our first time and we will for sure be back. Thank you

Beautiful Setting

The location is secluded and very cozy. Great WIFI for our grandson!! The kitchen was well equipped for our stay. We were not too far away from town which had a couple FABULOUS restaurants: Los Agave's, very authentic Mexican food with a lovely staff and Sapori di Napoli, as "foodies" we did not expect such an upscale Italian Restaurant in such a small town!! We would travel to Monterey to eat at either restaurant again!!

Fireworks Getaway

The cabin was rustic and charming, and had a great back porch with rockers & a swing overlooking the pond. We enjoyed the dock and fishing in the big pond. It was nice to float around the pond in the aluminum boat. We saw several wildlife. The cabin and area was quiet and peaceful.

Ideal getaway!

This stay was exactly what my wife and I were looking for, for our babymoon! We had the greatest time thanks to the cabin & pond location being so quiet, peaceful, and away from it all. The cabin was so cozy and clean, and we had a great time catching bluegill in the pond (the bass were too smart and kept missing the hook!). 10/10 we’re planning on going back someday with our first child!
