"Very friendly staff who were extremely helpful. The room was excellent, spacious and comfortable with a very big shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. I’ll Definitely stay again."

"Checked in for 1night as we travelled to attend a family funeral, upon entering the room the curtain was shut and the smell of mould of very overpowering. Opened the curtain to be greeted with alot of black mould all over the window the curtain and underneath the table, i spoke to staff on reception about this as my partner has chronic asthma and they moved us rooms very helpful. We moved rooms and went straight out to eat as we had been travelling all day, we went back to the room later on to notice this room also had mould in a broken window lock and a broken table, body hair left in shower! Spoke to the main desk again and they offered us a new ropm it was 11.30pm and we had to be up crack of dawn for a funeral! I saod no the room will do for 1 night as we were so tired, during the night it was so noisy people shouting. Spoke with the manager the next morning and was given a full refund as 2 rooms were disgusting. Staff were helpful but hotel is outdated and mouldy, pictures do not match reality it was like a place they house ex cons!"

"No staff about when you needed them. Heating not working. Wasnt fixed when asked. Restaurant has been shut about 4 years, no food on site. Fire alarm went off at 4.45am and no staff on site. Fire brigade had to break in to reset alarm. Makes Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star! Dont be fooled by the pictures! Cheap and definitely not cheerful. Literally unable to contact anyone for a refund. "

"Our stay was great! The host was easy to communicate with. The property was very clean and well maintained. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is also just a short walk to stores and restaurants. We would definitely choose Saks Villa again when staying in town."
