Rough start- fantastic resolution from owner.

Didn't receive the gate code in check in email, but had it in les than 3 minutes of contacting owner. Due to a mix up from the newcleaning company, our room had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Again contacted the owner and again she provided a fantastic resolution almost immediately. Paid for our families dinner while our room was being cleaned- and refunded our cleaning fee. Great room, great owner, and enjoyed our trip! Would definitely stay here again!

Very Nice Condo

Overall I'm pleased with my stay however there were some things that made me not give 5 stars which I will detail below. *Checkin was very easy however only 1 gate was ever working at once causing delays. *The Condo itself was very clean & furnished nicely. The bed in the master room makes loud noises anytime you move so for a light sleeper like myself I would wake up anytime my husband moved. The bathrooms were nice & clean. Bigger towels may be something I would suggest to the owner. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware and flatware. The balcony gives you a beautiful view of the ocean & the sunset along with a view over the RV camp ground (which was very interesting to watch at times. LOL). The only problem we had with the unit was the TV in the living room which I reached out to the owner about. The cable box is tie strapped to the back of the TV so without line of sight we were unable to change the channel without having to stand on a chair but we made it work. We weren't there to watch TV. LOL The second bedroom has plenty of beach toys, boogie boards & extra chairs for us to use. *The following comments do not reflect on the owner at all but the resort itself & these are the reasons I did not give it 5 stars. *A few complaints were made about the elevators. We didn't have to wait long for an elevator however it think it helps being on the 18th floor. Guest staying on lower floors had to wait much long because by the time it got to them most are full. It would be nice if the resort provided air condition in the area that you wait for the elevators. In the short times we waited it got very hot! *In the 7 days we were there we never got the chance to enjoy the pools. They were either closed or due to COVID always at the max occupancy. I know times are unprecedented but a better system would allow more to enjoy the pools. *Wendy was very nice to provide 2 chairs & Umbrella set up at the beach daily. My only issues with these is they weren't set up 6 ft apart & you are on top of everyone. There isn't even enough room to walk between them. Most of the time we didn't use them as we didn't feel it was safe being that close to strangers without a mask on. It was also unnerving to see so many resort staff walking around without a mask on or wearing them improperly. Wendy I hope you appreciate my feedback. Thank you for letting us use your unit. We enjoyed our time & would definitely rent from you again!

Average stay

We were in town for a baseball tournament. #1 the beds in the second bedroom did not have linens. #2 the thermostat is programmed, which is very annoying when you've been sitting at a ball field all day and expect to return to a cool room and find that it's 75 degrees. #3 the pools are not kid friendly. We had red flags at the ocean several days which forced everyone to the pools for relief. Kids are kids, they want to throw balls and jump... The staff is very strict... No throwing balls and no jumping. #4 12 washing machines for over 300 units, be prepared to wait. The laundry facility is suppose to be open from 7 a.m. To 11 p.m.... Got down at 6:50 and only 2 machines left.... Several people came in behind me... They waited over an hour to get a machine. When you are only given one bath towel per person per room... You've got to do at least your towels. Also, make sure you're done with laundry by 11 PM. They will lock the doors regardless of you have laundry in there or not. #5 elevators... Again, you've got 3 elevators for over 300 units. Saturday and Sunday, we waited over 10 minutes for an elevator. After that it wasn't too bad. #6 pizza at the galley was delicious #7 the view was great #8 eating out.. Nacho hippo and Bubba's fish house are a must.

Fabulous Condo

The condo was great. Exactly what was described online. We had a beautiful view of the beach. Plenty of room for a family of four. The only issues we had during our 7 nights was the elevators. We literally waited 20 mins on a normal day unless it was really early in the morning, or late at night. Saturday’s were the worst, we waited an hr for an elevator to be able to check out. Same with when we checked in. That completely falls on the resort and not Wendy, the condo owner. She was great to work with and we enjoyed the use of her condo very much.

Great vacation

The condo was amazing the location was perfect. It was clean and great access right off the elevators. The view was outstanding with views of the ocean and the campground below. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning while watching all the campers come and go. I would definitely go back and rent this unit again. Wendy was great to deal with and easy as well

Myrtle Beach Vacation

Our stay was excellent. Everyone had a great time. The facility was very nice except that almost all of the hot tubs and the sauna were not functional during our stay and were under repair. The beach was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and helpful and provided great service and ideas for places to visit and eat. The view was fantastic! We were worried about the elevators, but there was never a problem and everything went smoothly. The owner answered all of our questions and went out of her way to make our visit very enjoyable. We had a great time and look forward to returning!

Beach and watching people with golf carts in Camp Ground was awesome!

We started out with a little hicup on first day at the Security Gate with them not having my name to check in, they misplaced the email with my name for check in. I felt bad for cars behind me trying to check in. I called Wendy the owner and it was cleared up quickly. We had a leak from the condo above us coming down into our kitchen and within 5 minutes of calling Wendy about it, a Maintenance man showed up and had it figured out and cleared up within 15 minutes. We absolutley loved the condo and location. Even with large crowd checking in a line for the elevators, it ran pretty quickly to load up and get on the elevator. The building had plenty of carts to load up items to take to our room. A lot of spaces for 20 minute parking for unloading with security making sure cars did not stay past the 20 min limit. Besides being at the Beach in an awesome condo with a great view, we enjoyed watching the camp ground below next door with all the campers coming in and out with setting up. I have never seen so many golf carts riding around in my life at night in the camp ground. That was so fun to watch every night. At exactly 11:00 pm they have a cerfew and within 5 minutes they are all gone, that was so cool to watch. Every night we couldn't wait to get back to the room to watch the golf carts. lol The propery was absolutely amazing and well maintained. Some things seemed far away, but it really was a short walk and I am not in shape. My only complaint was we ate at the Breakers Bar on that Friday evening and they had Karoke night and it really was not good and annoying trying to enjoy your family. It would have been nice to just hear some DJ music while we ate. Other than that,we enjoyed the food and drinks. The best condo I have ever stayed in. With all the pools and choices of activities it was worth every dime. I can't wait to go back!

Exactly as described......

Wendy's unit #1816 was very clean, roomy and very well-equipped with all your basic supplies as well as plenty of kitchen cookware & utensils. It was nice having beach chairs & an umbrella & there were boogie boards and sand toys for young ones. Even books, movies & games for our use. The bed was comfortable, views for sunset spectacular, & the campground below kept us entertained with their various activities. We have stayed at this resort several times in the past & the amenities there are top-notch and the grounds well groomed. It is a real bargain for the money compared to some others where we've paid much more. Wendy was easy to work with, replied to questions in a timely manner and took care immediately of a few minor repairs. The only change I would suggest would be better balcony furniture, as the plastic chairs were very uncomfortable. This is an end unit that has a balcony that's jutted out so you have nice breezes & and ocean front & ocean view. You won't go wrong renting this unit !

Large condo on the beach with ocean view

My family really enjoyed our vacation at this condo. It was large and clean. I have 3 kids. We all felt like we had enough room to ourselves. There were 3 tv's and wifi. The balcony had a wonderful view. The kitchen was well equipped. We used it for breakfast and lunch. The condo is well situated. The building is right on the beach. The building also had its own pool. This vacation was my first time using vrbo. The owner made everything run smoothly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to any family looking for a beach vacation.

Wonderful Views!

We spent Thanksgiving week at the condo. Loved being able to see the ocean from the living room and the dining room. The unit was clean and well maintained. I would absolutely stay there again and I plan on it!
