"A very nice and well-mannered young man (who told me he was from Miami) at the front desk greeted me when I checked in. Good manners like this go a long way toward making your otherwise below-average property more inviting. When I went into my room, the toilet was not flushed and the shampoo holder in the shower was broken and lying in pieces. That is an inexcusably uninviting and unprofessional look. I suggest you hire maintenance people that either understand how to flush toilets, or forbid them from urinating and defecating in guest rooms. Breakfast is the by-now-typical at all 2-star hotels: powdered eggs and that same 3-4 soggy frozen items. The road noise in the room comes through the HVAC system, making rooms facing the road unacceptably noisy. Otherwise, the room was clean. My compliments to housekeeping. 6/10"

"Stayed in Houston to visit some family. Clean and spacious room. It’s an odd location, however, and appears to just be close to hospitals (my fault as I didn’t really look into this). Not a great spot if you want to do any sightseeing or something touristy so would keep that in mind. Was a bit blindsided by the $50/night valet charge—no real other options for parking so would add that to your daily rate. "

"Was not told accessible parking entrances were close at night only one access open after (?) time. Vanity light not working at all in room did report when checking out. WiFi connection did not work entire stay. Room was clean but looked as though it was needing care/upgrading. Bathroom tub water dripped no matter how hard the knob was turned to off. Was assisting with care of a cancer patient at the hospital didn’t have time to complain at the desk but since you asked here you go."

"The rooms were clean but they didn’t have a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a microwave in the rooms. We had leftovers but couldn’t take them because we couldn’t keep them cool or heat them up. The staff was wonderful though!! Hi praise there!! The AC during the heat of the day struggled to keep the room cool but by 10 pm it was cool enough to sleep comfortably."

"Plumbing problems in our room. Water was at a drip, sink didn't drain, toilet didn’t flush properly. The bedspread was not clean and smelled. No carpet. Ice machine was out. The room was clean and the front desk was awesome. Gated access was great. "
