"The place is clean and beautiful. Food at the restaurant was great. The massive rain shower head was phenomenal. I only had a few issues in my room, the front door was jammed and had to shoulder check it to open and close, the shower wand didnt work. Besides that, for the price it was great and close to MD Anderson. "

"I love this hotel so far and will continue to stay here when I Got o Houston. They have p laced me in room 346 each time and I love it. My husband and I are both disabled veterans and this room gives us plenty of room. Leslie was great during check in and very courteous. There is plenty of handicapped parking which we need, but I notice when we leave for any night time activities, when we returned both times, we had to park a long way from the front, but fortunately there were other accesses to the building that we could use. The room location was wonderful because it was away from the elevator and had a good view of the city street. The hotel is in the heart of the city and so close to everything you need regarding food and shopping. My husband ate the breakfast and enjoyed it and I love the free parking, microwave and refrigerators in the room because we come out there to go to concerts and things and often eat at the restaurants and have take out. The only setback was on the day of check out, our phone began ringing at 10:00 every 15 minutes as if they were rushing us out but the desk clerk informed me at check out that it was not the front desk so that was absolutely weird. "

"The property had construction going on at 4am. Apparently a water pipe broke. I tried contacting the hotel but they would not respond. I checked out early and won't be staying here again."

"First room they gave me the toilet seat was dirty with brown stains. Only one elevator working and the hotel was full. Carpet old and bad condition. AC not working properly, bad smell, hallway in poor condition and under construction. Paint in the rooms and hallway it was just patch up nobody working. Nobody cleaning the rooms no fresh towels. Breakfast trashcans full of trash with flies. Charge me 12 dollars to park and took me 15 minutes to get out because nobody would open the gate. It is really and old hotel pictures do not match the hotel. Could not even move to another hotel because it is to late to cancel"

"Was not told accessible parking entrances were close at night only one access open after (?) time. Vanity light not working at all in room did report when checking out. WiFi connection did not work entire stay. Room was clean but looked as though it was needing care/upgrading. Bathroom tub water dripped no matter how hard the knob was turned to off. Was assisting with care of a cancer patient at the hospital didn’t have time to complain at the desk but since you asked here you go."

"The rooms were clean but they didn’t have a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a microwave in the rooms. We had leftovers but couldn’t take them because we couldn’t keep them cool or heat them up. The staff was wonderful though!! Hi praise there!! The AC during the heat of the day struggled to keep the room cool but by 10 pm it was cool enough to sleep comfortably."

"Plumbing problems in our room. Water was at a drip, sink didn't drain, toilet didn’t flush properly. The bedspread was not clean and smelled. No carpet. Ice machine was out. The room was clean and the front desk was awesome. Gated access was great. "
