Overall it is really an excellent hotel. Many of the rooms should be updated, but still they are adequate and spacious. The breakfast area can be busy, but there is a large adjacent room with plenty of space. The hotel staff were great. The onsen has a spacious indoor bath and plenty of washing areas. The outdoor bath is very pleasant, just be careful walking on the stone surfaces. The staff takes good care of the onsen and sauna. The location is good. You can walk to Nagahama JR station and the old town area is just beyond. The lake and the large beautiful next door park and castle is good for walking. There are not many restaurants open at night in central Nagahama, but you can probably find something.

9月の三連休最終日に宿泊しました。 【部屋】 11階1123号。琵琶湖ビューのスタンダードツイン。広いお部屋で清潔でした。エレベーター前に、給水給湯器があったのは良かった。深夜寝ていると、どこかから、ヒュンヒュン警報みたいな音が鳴り止まず、なんだろうと耳をすまし、原因が空調とわかりました。22度に下げると鳴り止みましたが、また温度を上げると音が鳴り、中々眠れず。寒いけど温度を下げ、風量を弱くし寝ました。 【ラウンジ】 今回、予定より遅く到着し、ウェルカムドリンクタイムを逃してしまいましたが、夜のカクテルの時間帯を楽しみました。セルフサービスで、リキュール等割って飲むのですが、瓶がベタベタしていて、おしぼりや、拭くものを置いて欲しかったです。もしあったのに気づかなかったならすみません。にぎわってましたが、この日は座れましたし、色々飲めて、ありがたかったです。 【朝食ビュッフェ】 朝食付き、8時に予約しました。カツバーガー、ホットドッグ、エッグベネディクト風に食べれたのが良かった。カラフルなドーナツが見て楽しく、気分も上がりました。 ただこちらもおしぼりが探せず、トングを触った手で食べるのか、、と。食べ終わりに、トレー配置されている１箇所のそばに自動式おしぼりを発見。箸やフォークのある場所要所要所に、個装のもの設置するなどのほうが良かったです。どれも味は美味しく、満足でした。 ちょいちょい不満はありましたが、卓球もできたり、全体的に楽しい時間をすごせました。

レイクビューの部屋だったので琵琶湖、お城、国スポ会場等が見渡せとても良かったです。琵琶湖に沈む夕日もとてもきれいに見えました。 ツインのベッドは２台とも電動で固めのマットレスの為寝心地良く翌朝腰が痛くなることもありませんでした。（他の部屋に泊まった人は普通のベッドだったり畳の部屋で自分で布団をひいたと言っていたので当たりだったようです） 大浴場も朝食のビュッフェも満足・・・でしたが広い会場には小さい子供が多く騒音はかなりひどかったです。 滞在中一番気になったのは客数に対しエレベーターの数が少なすぎ上下の移動にかなり時間がかかった事とフロントの人数が足りていないのかこちらも待ち時間がかかったことです。 接客が悪いわけではないので残念でした。
