Salt & Light: Charming Contemporary Studio, Dog-friendly and Close to the Beach!

Welcome to Salt & Light, Unit 4 at Milepost 16!

The property is located (you guessed it) at Milepost 16 in Nags Head. Located across the street from the Glidden Street beach access, the property sits on a semi-oceanfront lot (see aerial photos above).

A dog-friendly downstairs unit with a studio layout, Salt & Light features a well-equipped kitchen, a flat screen TV, WiFi, a shared, coin-operated washer & dryer, and a mini-split heating & air conditioning system for optimal temperature control. 

The outdoor area offers an outdoor shower and an outdoor hose. For your convenience, the unit has a cart for hauling your beach gear to and from the sand.

Linens and cleaning are included in the rate. Linens are provided by an independent vendor (bed linens, bath towels, washcloths, sheets). Bed will be made when you arrive!

Our awesome caretakers, Mike and Lisa, live nearby and are as committed to your experience as we are.

In addition to many local retail shops, fine and casual dining establishments and grocery stores, the cottage is also close to many great local attractions including the beautifully renovated Jennette's Pier (less than one half mile away), the North Carolina Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, Tanger Outlet shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and off-roading and fishing at Oregon Inlet.

There is a two-dog maximum, we do not allow cats, and we do not charge a pet fee. There is no smoking allowed in the unit. This unit is not handicap accessible. We have a 30-day cancellation policy - refunds will only be issued if cancellation is submitted in writing to the property manager outside of 30 days from check-in date.
