"Stayed in the APA chain several times in different areas, especially when looking to save money. I do fancy that their amenities are provided in the room (instead of a counter by check-in like other budget hotels) and replenished when the rooms are cleaned. The informational series on the tv in the rooms is quite helpful —lots of info regarding the hotel (live info on busy-ness of public bath and laundry facilities!) and also tips for travelers. All areas of the hotel and room were very well maintained and clean.
Folks seemed to be enjoying the public bath. We particularly took advantage of the rooftop pool views for sunset and sunrise drinks and snacks. For a large hotel, there wasn’t ever too long of a queue for the lifts since there were several available for different series of floors.
The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it sits right outside the OCAT and we were commuting via bus to/from the city. No need to cross the street. There’s a grocery store around either side of the block, but there is also a 7-11 on the fourth floor and outside the front entrance. Walking distance to Namba and Namba Parks area. Namba Walk and Station is underneath.
I would suggest checking out a bit ahead of the call time as there was a bit of a queue for the bag holding area already by 0930."
