"Great house and property, definitely bigger than we thought it would be. House was clean and well stocked, and Greg was great to deal with, and was easy to communicate with on getting some problems with the boat renting app sorted out. Boat was also clean and ran perfect during our 2 day rental of it. There’s definitely ALOT of steps to the lake, and if it’s rained it can be a little slippery, but it’s a great view from the dock. If you have a lot of people, this house has the room for you, and for the able bodied crowd the boat and dock are well worth it."

"We had a wonderful week-long stay at this property. The house itself was perfect for my growing family, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably. However, I want to advise future guests that the walk to the lake is not feasible, especially if you have small children. It is a 20-minute hike down, and the walk back up is extremely strenuous. I am an active 51-year-old who walks 3–4 miles regularly, and I still found the trek back up quite exhausting. We ended up driving to the dock instead, which was less than ideal when we had company over. Despite the accessibility to the lake, the house served our needs well and we enjoyed our time there."

"I highly recommend this lodge! We had a wonderful time and couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family getaway. This home is perfectly designed for three generations, with our family ranging in age from 73 years old to 6 years old.The view is amazing! The lake and mountains are absolutely incredible.DJ’s communication was amazing, from the directions to all the helpful details about the house. Everything we could possibly need was provided, from cooking supplies to lake toys. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home.I’m already looking at dates for next year! Thank you, DJ and Cristy, for sharing your beautiful home with us. We made some wonderful family memories that we’ll cherish!"

"Love staying here. Has everything you need (and then some more). Comfortable beds , fully stocked kitchen. Nice lake view. We love having a dock to park the rental boat. Host is very responsive. Second year of staying here and we'll definitely consider it for next year."

"The cabin was awesome and the stay was excellent! If you enjoy a great mountain view from a large, hillside cabin, with many amenities, then this is an excellent choice! The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Even after we discovered an issue, the host went above an beyond to try an correct the issuePros (more details below!):1) An incredible cabin with lots of space and many beds!2) Outstanding view of the mountains.3) Amenities galore! So many that you may not want to leave!4) Excellent host that was incredibly responsive.5) Isolated and quiet.Cons (none are really negative!):1) It is up a mountain, so the road is steep and mostly gravel.2) You cannot actually see the lake.3) It is an older cabin, but still in very good condition.4) No speakers (yet!)The property listing was not complete accurate, as there were actually MORE amenities than listed! Here is a partial list of the extras:There is a large gas grill (in excellent condition) and a hibachi grill for charcoal. There is a large coffee maker both floors, and a Keurig machine on the main floor. There is a dishwasher on the main floor.There were 4 kayaks onsite and a trailer to load them on to get down to the lake.The pool table is regulation size. The 80's style arcade game has 6 old-school games on it Including Frogger, Donkey Kong, Galaga & Mrs Pac-Man!!). I'm sure I missed some, but basically, anything you need (other than food & drink) is there, with lots of extras!Highly recommend!"
