"The cabin was awesome and the stay was excellent! If you enjoy a great mountain view from a large, hillside cabin, with many amenities, then this is an excellent choice! The host was extremely responsive and helpful. Even after we discovered an issue, the host went above an beyond to try an correct the issuePros (more details below!):1) An incredible cabin with lots of space and many beds!2) Outstanding view of the mountains.3) Amenities galore! So many that you may not want to leave!4) Excellent host that was incredibly responsive.5) Isolated and quiet.Cons (none are really negative!):1) It is up a mountain, so the road is steep and mostly gravel.2) You cannot actually see the lake.3) It is an older cabin, but still in very good condition.4) No speakers (yet!)The property listing was not complete accurate, as there were actually MORE amenities than listed! Here is a partial list of the extras:There is a large gas grill (in excellent condition) and a hibachi grill for charcoal. There is a large coffee maker both floors, and a Keurig machine on the main floor. There is a dishwasher on the main floor.There were 4 kayaks onsite and a trailer to load them on to get down to the lake.The pool table is regulation size. The 80's style arcade game has 6 old-school games on it Including Frogger, Donkey Kong, Galaga & Mrs Pac-Man!!). I'm sure I missed some, but basically, anything you need (other than food & drink) is there, with lots of extras!Highly recommend!"

"This property was perfect for our extended family vacation, and the host is very responsive. We had a lot of rain during the week, but the game and theater rooms kept everyone happy. The lake is just beautiful. Renting the boat, tubing, along with the kayaks we brought, made exploring the area exceptional. We are looking forward to coming back!I do want to echo what others have said however, about the amount of stairs and how slippery they become when wet. Those with any limits on mobility may want to consider this."

"An Unforgettable Family Getaway & Perfect Wedding Base! We booked this beautiful cabin as our home base for my niece’s wedding, and it exceeded every expectation. Even the drive to get here was an adventure! We experienced the Tail of the Dragon on our way to the cabin. It is a stunningly beautiful, winding drive that set the tone for an incredible mountain vacation.The moment we arrived, we were blown away by the amazing view of the lake and mountains. It was perfect for our family.The Boat Dock: Absolutely awesome! Having direct water access made everything so convenient. On the Water: We rented a boat and the whole family had a blast going tubing.AmenitiesWhen we weren't on the water or celebrating the wedding, we were fully utilizing the cabin's fantastic outdoor spaces. The Hot Tub: The perfect way to unwind after a long day of wedding festivities or lake activities. Outdoor Cooking: We loved grilling out on the deck while taking in the mountain scenery.We left with hearts full of cherished family memories and cannot recommend this property highly enough!The Verdict: If you are looking for a place to gather with family, enjoy the water, and make lifelong memories, this is it. We will cherish our time here forever. Highly, highly recommended!"

"This is a wonderful property right on the lake. It has a beautiful view from the entry level deck of the water. House was very spacious and easily accommodated all 10 of us. The beds were very comfortable along with all of the furniture. The kitchen is the heart of the house and makes meal time very easy with the double ovens, pantry access and multiple access points. The stairs to the lake are in great shape and make it easy to descend to the lake and the dock, lots of steps. We were very surprised at how few people where on the water for the week of July 4th but we were very happy about it as the kids got to "swim in the middle" of the lake. Overall a wonderful vacation for our families. P.S. - the countertop Ice maker was AMAZING!"

"We absolutely loved this property and its hosts. We have stayed many places over the years and this has surpassed the others by a long shot. The hosts were very active with communication, the property was amazing and the location was even more amazing. In the past we have ran in to issues where we didn’t have things we may have needed throughout the house (pans, dish soap, etc), absolutely not the case here. They have everything you need! We recommend this place 1000 times over and can’t wait to come back!"

Mountainview House - Luxurious Privacy Above the Clouds

"It's a bit of a climb up the mountain (4-wheel/all-wheel drive recommended), but the view is well worth it. The house is very well appointed and communication with the host was great. Relaxing and peaceful are understatements. Pam has a number of bird feeders on the property, which invite guests to just hang out and watch nature at its best. A morning read with coffee on the deck is a must, and sunsets and star-gazing are incredible. Bring your favorite CDs or listen to any of variety there, that will likely satisfy any taste.The house and property are very clean and well-kept and there is plenty to read if you're into a cozy corner and a good book. There is a separate room with a TV, if you just want to while away with some screen time, too, but I like that it doesn't encumber the main living area, which is both open yet cozy.Since it was June, we didn't strike up the fireplace, but I imagine it to be another great element to an autumn or winter atmosphere. But even in mid-June, there was plenty of blanket time with cool evening breezes and crisp mornings. Definitely a memorable trip."
