Great view

We love sitting around the fire pit at night after a long day at Nashville. We arrive to find a place spotless and the beds were comfortable. We recommend this place.

Everything but the driveway

We liked everything about the apartment. The location on the river is great and everything was clean ans as advertised. I only have 2 suggestions, keep the chairs by the fire pit wiped off (they were dirty and had bird poop on them) spend a little money to have the gravel driveway smoothed out! The bumps are terrible and hard to navigate, especially in a small car.Otherwise, all good stuff here.

Retreat by the river

The house is very well decorated. It made you feel cozy and comfortable. The fire pit and the sand box was the selling point for us. Made us feel welcome. Thank you.

So cute and cozy!

My family and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The place was very nice, clean and working. I will say the sofa sleeper could use a thicker mattress. You can feel the edge of the couch if facing the TV, and during the colder months, The bedrooms coulde use a small heater. Gets a little chilly. The view of the river is so peaceful. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here! If I'm ever back in Nashville, I'd like to stay again!

Quiet time riverside

This place is the best. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful fall setting. Indoors was great, tho we had a bit of trouble with the TV, but that was us. Towels were super soft. Kitchen was stocked & we even used grill. Only two tiny suggestions, a set of hot pads in the kitchen would be nice and extra hand towels in bathroom as one for four people for four days wasn't good. Bathroom, did I say how great the shower was? And really cool mirror. Wonderful decor. Enjoyed a fire one night, so lovely. Hope to come back!

30th birthday celebration

My friends & I came down for my birthday. It was peaceful, clean & cozy. 20 minutes away from downtown. The place was spacious & well accommodated with everything you could need. You didn’t feel like you were in someone’s basement at all. Although, the fridge wouldn’t stop beeping randomly & the wifi was spotty. With hardly any service in the area, that was a bit annoying but we were hardly there so it wasn’t that big of a deal. It was a trip to remember & I will definitely recommend this spot to friends wanting to visit Nashville.

Quick 2 day stay in Nashville

The property was exactly as advertised, clean, well appointed, comfy beds, ample linens, etc. The code we were given by Vacasa did not work. Luckily the owner, Jordan, was on site and used his code to let us in. We had a rather lengthy back and forth with Vacasa to get a new code for entering the unit, but after several different codes we were able to get in the unit without Jordan's help. Now let me tell you about Jordan. We got our rental van stuck in his driveway shortly after we arrived. My husband could not move the van forwards or backwards as the tires on the van were over a railroad tie barrier. Jordan immediately came to help, trying all sorts of ways to get us unstuck. It was humid and late afternoon but he persevered. We eventually had to call a tow truck to get us unstuck but Jordan was kind, patient, and non-judgemental. He then helped us unclog the icemaker and reconnected the TV which was somehow disconnected by the previous guests. These were things that Vacasa was responsible for, had we called them about, but Jordan was more than gracious in helping out. In short, beautiful property on the river with an incredibly kind host. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Property was a perfect retreat after a couple long days in Nashville. Living room had games, books, and a great TV to wind down with. The beds were comfy and sheets were clean. I appreciated the fans, laundry baskets, blankets, soaps, towels, etc that made it feel more like home. Kitchen/laundry was clean. All around, a great property that I'd definitely stay at again!

Property is great, but owner needs to cleanup outside majorly and clean up lawn furniture. Inside was fairly clean the dish washer had stuck in detergent from last time. Outside of microwave was greasy. Just needs good cleaning inside and out.

Perfect Home for Family Get-Away

Adorable and clean bottom level apartment. Perfectly accommodated my family of 5 adults. The location on the Cumberland River is pretty and serene. 20 minute drive to any Nashville attraction. Highly recommend.

Lovely weekend visiting family

This property had everything that we needed and then some. Literally every detail was thought of from laundry detergent, tea, coffee, spices, to the beautiful fire pit and sitting area by the river. It was very clean and we loved the decorations. There was a great loop to run in the neighborhood which was so nice too.

Perfect and Peaceful

It was clean and tidy and pretty easy to find. Still close enough to do all the things in Nashville but then drive back home and relax without the sounds of the city. Great WiFi speed to work and check emails.

Description is Deceiving

We recently stayed at your listing River House on Berwick Trail. We were appalled to arrive and find that this was not a full home but a basement finish. The main description is deceiving as well as the listing appearing in the “houses only” filter. This should not be listed as a home; it is an apartment at best. The house has 2 primary residents, we assume the owners and then another tenant that lives there full time and rents a space. This was very alarming since we were not expecting anyone to be at the home, much less additional residents. Having the additional resident made us very uneasy. We do trust that when someone signs up as a host that they have been checked by your company to assure safety; not knowing the additional resident compromises the safety and integrity of the trust we put into your company. The space is clean however, you can hear every step that the residents make above you, and this was late through the night as well, causing sleeping difficult. We are asking for a refund and that the host be held to the standards that are expected, correct listing and disclosure of all residents that live at the property.

Such a thoughtful set up

I loved this place. There are so many thoughtful touches that made staying in this 2 bedroom apartment as comfortable as staying at home. There's everything you need in the kitchen, laundry and bathroom. the beds a very comfortable, the rooms are well lit, there are even things like laundry hampers, a fireplace heater, games to play, a fire-pit and a view of the river. I would stay here again and again!

Annual Nashville Trip
