What a perfect place! Well-appointed, peaceful, beautiful setting and so much to do if you want to or just be super relaxed if that’s your jam. Host is very responsive and owner is so helpful and kind. We loved the pool, hot tub, sauna, kayaks and canoes! We’ll be back!
There was so much for everyone to do right at the house- it made for a great mix of relaxing days staying there and close enough to so many activities- hiking waterfalls and downtown Nashville.
Absolutely loved the property! It was very clean and stocked with what we needed during our stay. So much to do at the property and great views. Very quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay! Code quit working but the host made it where we could get in the rest of the time and was very quick about it. Love the place!!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
It was very clean and peaceful. The pool wasn’t available for use and hot tub took about two days to heat up so we were disappointed with the amenities. Communication was great!
Great spot for the two of us to relax for a week. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. The outdoor grilling set-up is the best I've seen in a long time! You'll want to grill out for every meal!
There are so many little touches on the property that made it surpass my expectations. Hosts were responsive and helpful, property is perfectly situated with ample fishing, very serene. would love to return for another family vacation!
This was a wonderful place to relax and have fun. Lots of things to keep you busy while you hung out at the house. We used the pool, the hot tub, the sauna, the massage chairs, the paddle board, the canoe, the kayak and even had time for fishing.
Perfect place for a family vacation. The pool and hot tub were awesome, lots of space outside to spread out. The owner came by and showed us how to properly use the Sauna and Cold Plunge. Sleeping worked since it was 2 adults and 4 kids. Nice place to relax and unwind.
We came to Tennessee for the week for softball nationals and after a day in the sun this was the perfect place to come back to. Quiet and relaxing. The kids loved the pool and late night corn hole games while our 1 year old boxer loved collecting sticks and going fishing with my husband. We enjoyed our stay so much we contacted the host and booked an extra night. Outstanding place to stay. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. If my daughter’s softball team comes back next year for nationals we will be booking this house again.
Our family of four did not let the rain ruin our spring break, and enjoyed all the amenities of this little slice of heaven! Pool and Hot tub were perfect. Outdoor shower and bathroom convenient for cleaning off the mud. Bunk beds super comfortable even the parents slept on them! Paddleboats, kayaks, fishing and tons of wildlife- turtles, fish, frogs… kids rated this place a 20 out of 10; and the adults had no complaints either.
This place was great! Brian was an excellent host, gave us a solid tutorial on how to optimize the suana. The amenities are top notch, and clean. Lots of wonderful areas set up to maximize the experience. We came ready to relax, and host a good dinner for my brothers birthday, and we got the perfect results. It was a wonderful place and we’re looking forward to coming back and even bringing the grandkids. Highly recommend to all who truly just want a one stop shop for fun and relaxing!
We had a wonderful time! The house was stocked with every possible amenity you could think of. A lot of thought went into making sure had everything we needed and it showed. Thank you for letting us enjoy this little peace of heaven.
This is the third year we have stayed in Tennessee with Vrbo! This was by far the best stay with terrific attention to the guests and their needs and enjoyment with activities and such. Having the necessities we need to start the visit was so wonderful. This has been sorta lax at other stays. Also, the talk to hosts with info were great too. We definitely want to come back. Thanks loads.
Just book it! Everything was great! Pool heated to great temp, sauna, outdoor kitchen, outdoor furniture and heater for cooler mornings/evenings, BIG jacuzzi. Brian was great and seems to have thought of everything! From outdoor lighting, tissues, bathroom spray, candles, oils, kitchen stuff, sunglasses, sunscreen, extra toilet paper and paper towels, fishing stuff, kayaks, robes, cornhole boards, and more! And let’s not forget the best massage chair! And foot massager. One can be in chair and one can be in the foot massager, my husband and I would switch off lol. Outdoor fridge, fridge with water in sauna room. Nice towels, comfy sheets. Went into Nashville, which is only 30 min away. Deer in the yard. Birds, ducks, geese on the water. All very peaceful. I would say this really isn’t an indoor house for more than 4. Just be sure to read house description about sleeping, bathrooms, and living room. Our family had a great relaxing time, would book again!
Property was beautiful and the host was very welcoming! We had a big crew staying the weekend so we were very pleased with the layout. Also bonus points for the best stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a vacation rental. Very well thought out and nice touches for guests. It really felt like home away from home
We had an amazing stay. So much for the kids to do. They loved the pool, hot tub and the fishing. The location was great too. Easily drivable to Nashville and to Burgess Falls.
We enjoyed nature’s beauty, wildlife, relaxation, fun & ALL the amenities offered at this lake home for 4 days. Loved the coffee/tea bar, waffle iron, & fully stocked kitchen. Property clean as a whistle. Outdoor griddle was greasy from previous user. Mother Nature brought 2 full days of rain yet we were still able to fully enjoy the fabulous pool (no lightning), the awesome lakeside hot tub, upper porch with hammock, and front patio. We watched the fish and geese. When skies cleared, we fished and explored in the boats. Many life jackets in asstd sizes available - all gear in great condition. Even beach towels provided! Read description carefully- there is no den with seating indoors (bench seating in bunk room), and the 2nd full bath is outside access only, top & bottom of door open to air for circulation. With 3 young ladies, we had not planned for all 5 of us to share the 1 indoor bath, but it worked. Wi-fi thankfully strong as I did have to work on my laptop. Owner offers so many amenities and thoughtful touches in this one property that we felt like honored guests. Thanks Mr. Hughes for sharing this special place, and for your quick replies to my ques. We highly recommend and hated to leave this little piece of Heaven on the lake!
Good experience with this home. The photos are very accurate, what you see is what you get. It was clean, and while the interior layout was a bit quirky, it worked well for us. The exterior amenities are really great. The pool is well-sized, the hot tub is huge, the sauna was nice, and the dock and watercraft available (kayaks, canoe, pedalboat) were great. One thing that struck me about this house was how well stocked it was with the little things (soap, coffee, books, etc). Charming. Not real close to anything, but scenic, quiet, and relaxing.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
We had an amazing time overall and enjoyed the location, but there were several issues that should be addressed.Upon arrival, we were met with an overwhelming smell from numerous air freshener plug-ins throughout the house. Cleanliness was also a concern. There was dog hair on the walls, floors, furniture, and even in the main bedroom bed. The kitchen table was sticky and had hair and food residue on it. The glass stovetop had a layer of dust, and the oven still contained cleaning residue. We also encountered spiders throughout the property, both inside and outside. The deck, dock, and outdoor structures were covered in cobwebs and active spiders. Looking through the deck boards, there were cups and beer pong balls visible underneath, which made the area appear poorly maintained. After I contacted management about the cleanliness concerns, the owner, who lives next door, came onto the property without notice and walked around the deck area. He never knocked on the door, which was unsettling, especially since the house has almost no blinds or curtains and our children could clearly see him outside. The dock shown in the listing photos was not the dock available to guests. The dock we used was older, rusty, had exposed rusted metal poles, and was covered in spider webs. For a rental costing over 2,000, I expected better cleanliness, maintenance, communication, and accuracy in the listing. While we enjoyed our stay, these issues affected our overall experience.
Loved our stay, but I would suggest bringing a thick blanket for the kiddos. The bunkbeds were a little hard as my son put it. But property was beautiful.
