Stone`s Throw Retreat

  • Welcome to your perfect mountain escape in Nathrop, Colorado! Two private acres along Chalk Creek. Brand-new modern home offers stunning views and solitude. Near Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, and minutes from hiking, rafting, fishing, and skiing.

    A spacious and stylish retreat. 4 Bed, 2 Bath, comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. The brand-new cook’s kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals. Grill on the back deck while listening to chalk creek and enjoy fast wifi.

    Large amount of parking can be found outside the house. There is a large backyard with huge deck along the creek for grilling out. Views of the chalk cliffs can be seen from some of the bedrooms. The kitchen is a brand-new fully stocked chefs kitchen. The house has wifi, laundry and enough beds to comfortably sleep 8 people.

    You have access to the full house and property. There is an owners cabinet and closet.

    We do not have a television, but we do have a projector with an HDMI connection for you to use your laptop to create a home theater experience.

    We have an induction stovetop. Please be careful with the top of the stove and read instructions of use.

Excellent location for what we wanted to do. Some hiccups at check-in but host communication spot on and resolved fast. Parking not ideal for a pickup/trailer/SXS combo, but worked. Very clean with all needed amenities. Rooms work well for 3 couples but bunk bed room more for children than adult couple. Awesome backyard area with access to walk around in the creek. Restricted a little by charcoal grill and fire restrictions, so may want to bring a propane grill if that is big for you. Location is superb for our needs. A little close to the main roads, some may not like the traffic. A few minutes from St. Elmo and Antero areas, excellent SXS area. 14ers galore within driving distance for early AM starts. Salida just down the street for Walmart and bigger restaurant selection. Family and friends really enjoyed the place.
