"Beutiful historic building. Breakfast made to order eggs and good variety of buffet items. "

"The location was fantastic-close to Rembrandtplein with all its bars and restaurants and easy walking all over central Amsterdam. Room was bigger than expected and bed was huge and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and spacious with good water pressure. Only small niggle was no way to turn on the fan and little evidence fan was coming on automatically, so very steamy after showers. Breakfast was delicious with lots of traditional options as well as breakfast staples. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"The ice cube dispenser on the second floor was great ! The rooms are quiet and the staff was hospitable! Also the beds are very comfortable. The front desk was accommodating to allow us into our room early after a long transatlantic journey! "

"Very clean property. Great location. Friendly staff. We were on the 2nd floor but I was woken up, despite having ear plugs, every night by someone talking quite loudly from the street till the wee hours in the morning. "

"17th floor- spa room. Hotel was lovely and clean. Room was beautiful with an amazing view of the city from the top floor. The only downside would be that although they provide tea and coffee in the room you have to ask for cups and milk and then cleaners take dirty mugs but don’t replace them. And for paying a bit extra for a more premium room having toiletries like shampoo and conditioner would have been a nice touch. Other than that, staff were lovely, hotel was beautiful and the pool was an added bonus. Lots of roadworks and construction in the area but we didn’t hear anything in the hotel and it didnt impact us at all. Tram only a few minutes walk away into central station which was handy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return. "
