The staff was very friendly and enjoyed talking with us. They were very helpful in helping us find what we needed. The property is under full camera coverage and I didn't worry about my ebikes on my car overnight.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The breakfast area was too small for a hotel of this size. The location, however, it's ideal for visiting the historic sites in Nauvoo.

I’ll rate this hotel every time I stay as excellent! Excellent staff, excellent facilities and location of course. It appears to be a bit older but don’t let that sway you. They keep it very clean and well maintained. If you need anything they will always accommodate you. When we stay there we always feel it to be a home away from home.

We traveled with another couple and had rooms for 2 nights. Their room was lovely! So well furnished and comfortable. Ours was bad. No chairs, bed uncomfortable. Very stripped down. The attendant said we would have to stay there for the first night. My husband then came in and insisted that they move us to a better room. She did but it gave me a sour taste for the place.

We arrived in the evening on Memorial Day, got checked in quickly, and the staff was wonderful. The room was clean, and it met our needs for our quick visit the next day. The summer tourist season had not officially opened. We were grateful to have a microwave in our room as the grandkids wanted some Hot Pockets and tv dinner lasagna for a late meal! The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We would definitely return to the hotel. Nauvoo is a small town. Without Casey's and the Dollar Store, Nauvoo has little to offer for eating, at least for breakfast. This may be different if visiting during the summer season. A little prior planning, preparation, and visiting the grocery store in Carthage or Keokuk would be advised!
