Two night stay in February

We stayed at the CH for two nights. This is a B&B and our room was #1, toward the small backyard. The owners are on-site and manage the property well, and are attentive to their guests. Good location, within a walkable distance to downtown restaurants and shopping. Owners provide good recommendations. Our only wish was for screens on the windows and sliding door, which would have allowed for better air circulation and bug protection in February (summer season). Not uncommon in NZ as mentioned in prior reviews, but 50/50 in our experience. Nevertheless, we would definitely recommend CH and would enjoy staying here again.

Lovely surroundings and easy walk to town

We had three nights here. Lovely setting, lovely fresh food plus homemade cookies with the coffee. Lovely friendly, helpful hosts who were happy to answer questions on places to go etc

Karell und David kümmern sich hervorragend um Ihre Gäste, haben für jeden die passenden Tips und Ratschläge parat. Das Zimmer, welches ich bewohnte hatte einen separaten Zugang zum Garten, das Zimmer an sich war groß und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war sehr gut ! Nach Möglichkeit würde ich dort jederzeit wieder übernachten !

Beautiful charming B&B

Beautiful charming B&B - we extended out stay from 1 to 3 nights. Lovely hosts and possibly the best breakfast we have had in NZ. Comfortable and spacious rooms with modern bathroom. A truly wonderful stay.

Lovely B&B in the heart of Nelson

We loved our stay at Cambria House. Carol and David have kept a quaint B&B near the heart of Nelson and an easy walk to the central business district. We booked on hotels.com and arrived within 3 minutes and found Carol ready for us. The breakfast was tasty and quick - eggs, smoked salmon, fruit, toast, and lovely coffee and tee. Everything presented well, and Carol gave us lots of tips for things to do and see on our drive back to Picton. Would definitely recommend staying at Cambria House.
