A great little find

The hotel was spotlessly clean with an outstanding breakfast each morning. A lot of the food was homemade, which made it delicious. We spent the afternoons lounging around the pool area, as the weather was great & a little sun trap.

Gorgeous little hotel with the personal touch. I had a spacious room with a large terrace that had incredible views over the bay. The breakfast was great and the hotel is quiet. Highly recommend.

Great stay

This hotel really has a personality, with its Spanish style and amazing staff. The breakfast was over all expectations and the hotel offers towels and also beach chairs, left from previous visitors. Great view from the room. But be prepared for a steep hill when walking from the beach to the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mercedes. Our room was comfortable with lovely views of town and the sea. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff provided towels for beach and helped with various information about the area.

We can't recommend Casa Mercedes enough. We stayed in the mini suite and the room was light, well designed and very comfortable. As with the other reviews, we found the breakfast amazing! It's a family run hotel and it shows, everything is well organised, the staff are very friendly and the immaculately clean. It's well positioned and a very short walk to the beach and local restaurants. If you're planning a holiday to Nerja this is the place you should stay.

Absolutely fantastic. Beautiful property, lovely hosts; room had spectacular views, well-stocked fridge, awesome breakfast. 5 minute walk to the beach. Loved this place and highly recommend. Definitely get the suite with sea views.

We had a wonderful two night stay here. The room was perfect for us . The breakfast was great, fresh and plentiful. Lovely staff. A steep walk up the hill from burinana beach. Easy for us but could be more difficult for others. There is a bus so it’s easily sorted. Great stay and will be back.

Excellent value. A little gem in quiet area.

Fabulous B and B close to Burriahna beach and a 10 minute walk to town. We loved the view from our patio. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice and attention to detail. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The bed was huge and very comfy. The pool and terrace area was lovely too. We didn't have a car but found everything to be in easy walking distance - bus station was only 10 minutes walk. Would definitely recommend this little gem.

We were so happy with Casa de Mercedes! The management, services, cleaning, general ambiance and wonderful breakfast were all excellent. The room, bathroom and patio areas are large and comfortable. We had views of the city, the mountains and the sea from our patio, and the walk down to the sea is short. Would love to return! Highly recommended!

Couple in June

Fabulous hotel a short walk from the beach and the centre. We stayed for a week in their smallest room and we were more than happy. Breakfast is delicious the sun terrace has plenty of chairs the pool is clean and most times we had the sun terrace / pool area to ourselves as most guests head to the beach. Perfect Hostal - we will return. The Gastro Tapas Mo’s is about 200 yards away and is exceptional . Towels are provided for the beach and pool areas too.

We had an excellent stay at Hostal Casa Mercedes. Thank you to the team there. We arrived on a late flight after reception closed, but were given access code to enter property and key was left in our room. It was all communicated in advance and worked without any problems. The room (junior suite) was spacious with large comfortable bed, double shower cubicle and balcony with direct view to sea. Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection. Excellent value for money.

You know the kind of place that you stay and then decide never to try another place because it is so perfect? That was the Hospedería Casa De Cisneros. We enjoyed the Panoramic double room (Cardinal Cisneros), and the experience was indeed panoramic and magical. You are staying in a piece of history and still the room had the right modern touches to make it comfortable. The cathedral is right next door but don’t worry it is very quiet area at night for sleeping. The roof top terrace is not to be missed, especially at night. Seeing the panorama of the Cathedral, the Alcazar and the city lit up was beyond description. Thankfully our host, Alphonso’s English was great, as our Spanish is not and he made sure everything was perfect. Arranging transport, recommending restaurants (Abadia!), making our coffee just right at breakfast…etc. Most people do day trips to Toledo, but we stayed a couple of nights and enjoyed the extra time to see extraordinary history preserved in the city.

Suite junior avec terrasse offre une très belle vue sur la ville et l’océan (chambre 8). Le petit-déjeuner est vraiment excellent et varié. Le grand lit est très confortable. Les serviettes de plage sont fournies, ce qui est bien pratique. Seul bémol: les installations (meubles, décoration, salle de bains, piscine, porte-patio) sont un désuètes et manquent un peu d’entretien.

This is an amazing place to stay. From the minute you arrive you are made so welcome. The Rolms are amazing spacious with stunning views. The breakfast room is stunning with fresh meats chesses and tapas. You can have fried eggs omelette and bacon . Fresh fruits yogurts and freshly squeezed orange juice. Unser 16 Tage Aufenthalt im Februar/März 25 war tolll! Es gibt nichts zu meckern! Mercedes und ihre Familie betreuen ihre Gäste äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles ist immer sauber und ordentlich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Auf Wunsch bekamen wir auch zweite Kopfkissen. Das Frühstück war eine Wucht. Jede Tasse Kaffee wird ob stärker oder schwächer gewünscht einzeln zubereitet. Es gibt frisch gepressten O-Saft, jeden Tag die besten frischen selbstgemachten Früchtejoghurts und immer frische Früchte, auf Wunsch auch direkt zubereitete Eierspeisen... und vieles mehr. Mercedes hat einige Stammgäste, das spricht wohl für sich. Strandtücher, Regenschirme, Lektüre u.a. werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Es gibt eine kleine Kaffee.- und Tee-Ecke mit Kapselmaschine, Kaffeekapseln, Teebeuteln, Wasserkocher und einer Mikrowelle. Handwaschseife, Shampoo und Duschgel sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Wir konnten unsere Alexa am TV anschließen. WLAN ist sehr gut. Parkplätze werden im Sommer schwierig zu finden sein! Aber in Nerja selbst braucht man auch kein Auto.
