The town's limited shopping and dining options make it a great destination for vacationers who just want to relax and unwind in a beautiful coastal hamlet while still being relatively close to entertainment options. Active-minded travelers will find plenty to do in Neskowin. Take a leisurely stroll along the beach toward Proposal Rock; if you continue south past the landmark, keep your eyes out for the 'ghost forest' of ancient tree stumps that occasionally appears nearby when tides are lower. Go for a hike in nearby Cascade Head Nature Preserve, or enjoy a few rounds of golf at Neskowin Beach Golf Course.
