"Booked one night as a last minute get away not having been here before. All I can say is we can't wait to return. It's only 15 minutes away from where we live so can't believe we've never thought to stay there before. The standard double room was great. Lovely big bed which was very comfortable and the rest of the room facilities were good. Booked the room with spa access which was amazing. We love thermal suites and this one was one of the better ones we have visited with a very ornate pool. Later on we dined in the restaurant both having filet steak which was cooked perfectly. Starters and deserts very tasty. We both enjoyed a really good night's sleep on a very comfortable bed, followed by excellent breakfast. All on all, one night just wasn't enough and we will have to look at coming back very soon. "

"The room hadn't been cleaned at all, actually whole load of dust coming off the floor when we got cleaners to come in and clean the place. "

"Room nice and clean but noise from the fan was irritating as you cannot switch it off - also last time we stayed we ordered the meal deal of evening meal and breakfast but deal not available this time and no cooked breakfast Mon - Thurs. So we ate elsewhere for breakfasts and our 2nd night evening meal"

"Half the breakfast menu costs extra, the porridge was like tepid mortar, the continental had sliced white and brown bread only, no bread buns, room 207 was baking hot with no way to cool it, the old leaded windows are characterful but completely warped and can't be closed, half the payment terminals didn't work, and the staff were friendly but inefficient."

"Parking was easy. Comfortable walk to hooton train station. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent especially Cajun wedges. Rooms are basic but ask the staff for fridge, hairdryer etc and they’ll provide. Place was quiet. They had a large function with over 100 people Saturday night and no impact to us. Beautiful gardens "

"Unfortunately no heating working in our room which spoilt our stay .Complained in the morning who said she would pass it onto the manager .Clearly there had been a problem with the boiler .Not good enough when outside temperature is 3 degrees ."

"This hotel was perfect for our overnight stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to help. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom which although clean needed a refurb as there was mould all over the ceiling, a crack in the sink, etc. "
