THE SPACE

From the Great Room’s vaulted ceilings and rustic cypress columns and trusses to the magnificent stone fireplace and large windows bringing in wonderful natural light, you’ll feel the true spirit of R-and-R embracing you immediately.

Posh and comfy living room couches and chairs provide fireside seating for sipping wine or simply chilling out to a movie or show on the large flat-screen TV. Hungry for a meal or snack? The high-end kitchen is fully equipped to help you serve up scrumptious food with joy and ease. With stainless-steel appliances, a Chef’s gas stove, a pro range hood, wraparound stone countertops, and all the primo cookware you could want, you’ll be able to fix up a great meal whenever the mood strikes! Morning coffee lovers? The breakfast nook is your hangout, but be aware—the Keurig habit may never leave you, as we provide only excellent coffee fixings for our guests! When your group feels it’s time for a formal meal, there’s a lovely dining room with great views to enjoy while sharing tasty vacation food together.

You’ll have seasonal access to the Camp Buffalo community pool, just a short walk away. Guests of Lodged in the Trees also have access to Camp Buffalo's pool, pickleball courts, playground, outdoor theatre, and clubhouse areas for personal recreation use.

Besides being super-close to the many popular restaurants, galleries, and boutique shops of downtown New Buffalo, you’re just a short distance from a number of truly majestic, crystal-sand Lake Michigan beaches! Plus, you can enjoy the many activities afforded by being a stone’s throw from the region’s largest recreational harbor—including boat and other watercraft rentals, as well as fishing expeditions and day or evening cruises—and all sorts of woodland, lake, and riverside parks with hiking and biking trails galore.

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing a vacation travel insurance policy if you suspect that you will need to cancel your vacation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

We welcome up to 2 dogs at this home at no additional charge. Please include the number of pets you plan to bring or let our team know after booking. 

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
