"The Bristol fit my needs as a work traveler and use of city's convention center. It was a healthy walk to convention halls but weather was beautiful for it. I used city bus from airport and easy with stop close to hotel. Light rails also close by. Hotel a few blocks off main Gaslamp hustle bustle. Property was unique and not like corporate cookie cutter. It had a boutique hotel feel. Hotel was undergoing some renovations in lobby area but it did not affect my rest in my room. Would recommend"

"Perfect location in Gaslamp. Less than 10 minute walk to the convention center and literally next door to Petco Park. I visited for a conference at the convention center and it was a great walk with a Starbucks on the way. Rooms are a bit dated but they’re clean and spacious. I wish the cleaning staff would’ve replenished the bottled water when cleaning, but otherwise great. Room service was very fast - food was middle of the road. Overall a great stay!"

"I reserved a room with a queen size bed, and was given a room with a double/full bed. I know the difference between the two, my partner and I could barely fit in the bed. 1 elevator was down the entire weekend, so leaving the hotel took forever from the 8th floor. When trying to sleep you can hear other guest coming& going, woke us up every time. On the morning of checkout, there was no hot water, had to take a cold shower. I won’t be booking this hotel again "

"Excellent front desk staff, easy access, big room with kitchenette. WiFi great, room temp perfect due to working air conditioner. I missed kitchen paper towels to clean spills, I also missed dishwasher soap and dishwashing sponge. Coffee maker working, clean easy to use. The best part there is a washer/dryer in the room!!!! Perfect place to stay I will be returning and highly recommend"

"This property was beautiful. It was well maintained had spacious, clean, comforting room. It was centrally located to food a quick walk to the port. The only thing that bothered me about the property was when I checked out, I was charged an extra convenience fee that covered the use of bike rentals, etc., of about $40 that I didn’t know anything about prior to booking at booking but otherwise it was a really nice property. "
