  • DUE TO EXTREME HEAT TEMPERATURES Energy United "Beat The Peak" program. AC thermostat will be regulated. Temperatures 85 degrees and below set thermostat no lower than 72 degrees. Temps 85-95 degrees the AC will be set no lower than 75 degrees. Temps 95+ degrees set thermostat no lower than 76 degrees. Beautiful and comfortable Lake Badin (also known as) Badin Lake home with lake views high up on a hill. If you are bringing a boat make sure you have 8cyl vehicle or 4wd. Circle driveway is at a steep angle.

    2 BEDROOM 2 BATH. SMOKE FREE. NO CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS OF AGE. DOGS WELCOME (25 lb. limit) $110 double occupancy week days. $125 Friday, Sat. & holidays. Add $25 per person per night each additional person up to 4 total. $50 pet deposit. Max 2 dogs. Home is fully carpeted. Lots of amenities. Master has King bed. Guest bedroom has queen bed. Front porch is screened in.

    NO PARTIES or large gatherings. No overnight guest that have not paid. If unregistered guest spend the night you will be charged from your deposit.

    Fully stocked kitchen. Coffee maker & coffee. Washer & dryer. Outdoor grill (propane).

    Great relaxing home. Located in the Uwharrie National Forest. Lots of day trips for the traveler. Fishing, hiking, biking, Emerald mines, Reed Gold Mine, NC State Zoo in Asheboro, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Morrow Mountain State Park , NC Wine Tour, and several golf courses.

    Community has a private boat launch with separate parking for vehicle and trailer off property. You are not allowed to leave your vehicle and trailer at the boat ramp. Parking lot up the street. Boat launch approx. 5 minutes from house. Go a couple more blocks and there is a community fishing pier. Sign says Beach #3.

    Bring your boat or Personal Water Craft. There is a circle drive way in front of home where you can park your boat and trailer. Vehicles only up this driveway. It is very steep.

The home was really nice. It was just my husband and me but it would also work well for two couples or a family given the separate bedroom and bathroom in the back. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals and the recliners were fun for TV or movie viewing. The host was super responsive and the lake area is lovely.

Very nice home, very cute. Close to the water with a quick access to the boat ramp. Host was very nice and gave us information before hand and answered very quickly. Great place to stay. We will be coming back when we are in the area again!

Closing on new house

Needed a few days stay to do a walkthrough and close on our new house! Found Beverly’s property and thought this would be perfect. Very comfortable and lovely place, kitchen is very nice and very well equipped! She had a lot of little things others do not consider,she obviously paid attention to detail!Furniture in Beverly’s place is beautiful! Was better than the pictures,master bed and bath is pretty nice and roomy! The whole place is spacious, wonderful stay! Thank you Beverly! Loved it! Definitely will recommend this place to family and friends!

Beverly is the absolute best! This may be the most well-stocked rental I have ever been in. I came equipped with things I didn’t even need to use. The house is cozy and welcoming, and the location is perfect for lake viewing. She has also included labels and notes throughout the house that are genuinely so, so helpful and thoughtful! She is extremely communicative in a timely manner – we were so appreciative of our entire experience. Highly recommend it!

You are constantly watched by this host, very little privacy as come and go from thw property. The air conditioning is terrible and there are stipulations in the agreement about how you are required to adjust the temperature throughout the day. The new place we found is so much better! Would not recommend this one.

Beverly is an excellent hostess. Totally on top of her place. It’s clean and comfortable. Fully stocked. Comfortable beds. She opens up her home to you. Plus, the Badin Lake area is beautiful. I would highly recommend this property if you plan to be in the area.

Get away for a wedding

We had an amazing time. The place is great! It has everything you can ever need. We got it to be closer to a wedding we were attending. We really enjoyed and highly recommend it. The owner was great and keep in contact to be sure we had everything we needed, etc.

Fishing weekend

We stayed here to have a relaxing weekend of fishing. It was very clean and spacious for just my Boyfriend and I. Property owner was very kind and messaged and asked if everything was going good. Will stay again. Plenty of fun on the lake. We brought our boat and had a great time.
